We were very impressed with our recent stay here. From the moment we checked in until we checked out the staff were absolutely top notch. Reception was always super helpful and the few minor problems we had in the room were fixed right away.|The room itself was spacious, modern and well equipped and housekeeping kept it spotless for us every day. The fridge was always stocked with water and the kettle area was similarly well stocked with coffee, tea, creamer and sugar.|The complimentary breakfast was absolutely superb. Greens, succulent tomatoes, cucumber, a variety of olives and cheeses. Fresh bread. Jams and other spreads both sweet and savory. Eggs made to your preference. Turkish tea and coffee of your choice. The view from the restaurant over the bay was beautiful. |Ugur and Lucky in the restaurant were fantastic and really gave you a great start to your day with their friendly service.|A special shout out goes to Lucky as he pretty much saved our trip. My wife had seriously strained her back at the airport and was in considerable pain. He arranged a visit to a| hamam and the next day when she still wasn't right insisted she try vacuum cupping which almost totally relieved the pain and got her mobile again. She's still mobile a week later and almost pain free. We can't thank him enough.|The views from the rooms are spectacular but if you don't like stairs or hills you may want to reconsider staying here. From the entry to the top floor there are 57 steps. The hotel is also in the middle of a steep hill.|Local bus service takes about 20 minutes to Bodrum and costs around 26 Turkish lira with card payment accepted on board. The bus stop is at the top of the hill. At the bottom of the hill is the beach area where you can find other hotels and some nice restaurants as when we were there the hotel restaurant closed at 4 PM. We particularly enjoyed Pescador.|We'd definitely stay here again as we really can't say enough about our...
Read moreThis small and quiet luxury boutique hotel (20 rooms) is very nice to stay in with a very personal touch. Situated just a little outside the busy part of Bitez on one side and Gumbet on the other side of the hill, in a quiet setting but not far from the beachlive and some bars (if you prefer). We loved our well equiped familyroom at the groudfloor with a little garden and right next to to swimmingpool. The rooms are just renovated and are very well equiped with a little refridgarator. We had a familyroom with a separated bedroom for adults and a living with 2 single beds and sofa, very spacious. Beds are very comfortable. Extra person can sleep on the sofa which can be a bed as well. Bathroom is small but well equiped with a shower and toilet. Our garden even had a couch and 2 sunbeds. We loved the full Turkish breakfast where you can choose how they make your eggs, try the Turkish meneme! Nice bread with serveral extra's and they even had pancakes, which made my girls smile. Swimmingpool is not big but really nice to relax and cooldown. The garden is nice with sunbeds and relaxchairs and great views. The 2 cats are lovely too. The beach is only a little walk down the hill, max 5 minutes and the boulevard start just there, all the way to the end of Bitez beach with shops, restaurants and some bars. ||The Roas Hotel has a restaurant as well with a lovely view over the Bitez bay all the way to Kos. They serve lunch and diner as well while you can enjoy the beautifull view, with very reasonable prices.||Last of all, the hotel has lovely people who all care about you and want to help and advise you. They are so friendly and made our stay perfect! So if you prefer a nice beautifull relaxed little hotel, and are not a fan of big all in stays, go and book this friendly hotel and feel the Turkish...
Read moreThe views from the rooms and from the on-site restaurant (where breakfast is served) are phenomenal. Truly it's one of the main reasons to stay here. Being here in late May it was quiet and serene. We had a deluxe room on the second floor of a small building. It had a spacious balcony with chairs and a small table as well as a small drying rack. The bed was incredibly comfy and the bedroom was separate from the living room. The outdoor maintenance is pretty good. The parking outside of the building in a little lot to the side of the main road was ample and convenient. There is a public beach as well as a crowded beach club about 7 minutes walk away which was lovely. The hotel is in a less touristy part of Bodrum - many locals seem to vacation here. So it's quieter, relaxing, but has less restaurants to choose from.
This seems like a very safe and local-loved neighbourhood. However, note that at the moment the front gate is open all night. There is "24/7 reception" but from midnight to ~6am that support is reached only via WhatsApp. We felt comfortable enough, but perhaps a solo woman in a ground floor room would want to move to a...
