Oh My God I've always seen this place on TripAdvisor as the best restaurant in Ovacık area and always wanted to have breakfast here and I'm glad I did give it a try. I was here with my parents so I really hoped that the breakfast would be spot on and it was. This restaurant is located in the middle of nowhere but the surroundings and the scenery are picturesque. My mom was taken aback by the view. The staff were absolutely second to none to say the least. Really helpful and made sure that we were having a great time. The food felt very fresh. We paid 1280 for the Turkish breakfast (for 2). My dad absolutely loved the sesame seed paste with molasses and my mom loved the flat baked bread. My favourite was the marmelade. The only thing that I felt like missing was the chocolate spread which they told me that they serve it to the guests who come with their kids but I think it should always be served regardless. The biggest improvement for this restaurant might be the installation of fans. We were there in early June and there was almost no loom-gale towards the pavilion due to the lack of air circulation. I can't imagine how hot it would be in August. When we asked the manager, he told us that they will put up the fans in a few weeks. Overall, we had a lovely time there. We were absolutely hank marvin that we forgot to take any pictures to share here but there are plenty others. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you'd like to have a lovely...
Read moreI decided to come here with my partner after looking at reviews on Google for places to eat in the area. This came up as number 1 on trip adviser and the photos and reviews looked good. We decided to give it a go being in gorkem hotel only a 5 minuite walk away. It's out the way of the main strip so feels secluded and more "Turkish" than the restaurants that cater to the English in the main strip of the area. Food is fantastic, all home grown produce and handmade. Wonderful staff that speak great English and are very chatty. Overall I'd recomend coming and you won't be disappointed. We came back on our last night so that we'd have a good meal on our last night since the meal the night before somewhere else was awful and very expensive. Please come and try it's delicious food. I'm vegetarian and something on both starter and main that caters to me. Well...
Read moreA lovely peaceful family run restaurant who welcome you very nice and politely! They are very accommodating and have various Turkish day beds and tables for dinner.
The food is fantastic - very delicious and all the vegetables are grown by the family and cooked by chefs of year’s experience.
For six people with 2 starters and 6 main courses, and multiple drinks ( Turkish Teas, Beers, Cocktail, Bottle of wine, Sprites ) came to around £120 - which is a very reasonable price. And it’s even better as it’s secluded and very coo - we went around 7/8pm and it wasn’t too crowded nor loud, it was lovely.
They even have Turkish BBQ nights with live entertainment! I would 100% recommended this place if you are...
