We usually go for “local food” restaurants but wanted to watch Wimbledon tonight while avoiding “irish pubs” and “sports bars”

Staff were very welcoming and put on the tennis in their lounge area - super chilled. They wouldnt put volume on as there was singer starting (which is fair enough - she was pretty good)

We sat with a drink and ordered garlic bread watching and it tasted great. Decided to move to the dining tables next to the lounge and have dinner. Caesar Salad with a side of fries (excellent) and a steak with blue cheese sauce (asked to cook mid rare but was slightly overcooked likely as a result of the hot sauce, but was by no means dry as the sauce COVERED it - was good all things considered)

Retired back to the armchairs and carried on watching the tennis.

Thank you to the staff of this brilliant bar/restaurant. I had a really wonderful birthday party yesterday. We have visited this place a few times already and always had a warm welcome. It has an air of sophistication without being pretentious. Super menu including a great range of 'posh' burgers, plus a good mix of Turkish and other dishes ....the Jack Daniel's burger is a must. They provided birthday celebration decorations and a beautiful birthday cake too. There is an extensive cocktail menu too....I had Hawaiian Mimosa...yum. My friend Sue had a Pornstar Martini which tasted amazing....who knew you got 2 separate drinks with that....I was well jealous. Prices are competitive. My very favourite musician, Emre Tezcan, sang and played brilliantly as usual, and added to the fab night, as we danced the night away. Once again thanks to Adam and family. Aee you next year. The Kbar in Ovacik, just minutes from Oludeniz is somewhere we will definately be visiting again. Beautifully decorated it has a real classy vibe, with a super friendly atmosphere. The staff were all polite, friendly and very attentive which all combined made for a wonderfully relaxed evening. The food was superb. Both my partner and I had the steaks which were cooked to perfection and it has to be said the best we have had by far!! The evening we went to was a jazz evening with a young lady singing also. The Kbar has entertainment three times a week and we will definately be back! So if you are looking for a little something more upmarket, with superb food, relaxing atmosphere, and really lovely food then this family run bistro is absolutely not...
