La Plage No.14 — Restaurant in Kadıköy

la Plage was on our list to check out. It has replaced the old house cafe. There were 3 of us, two of us ordered the pesto pasta and other friend ordered the schnitzel. The atmosphere was amazing compare to what it was before, it’s a true makeover!

Our waiter brought us free cocktails. We mentioned to the waiter that two of us don’t drink but thanked him. It was not busy yet as we went for an early dinner. He brought their special bread which was very delicious, our friend is allergic to sun seeds, we told the waiter that she’s allergic and if there’s any other bread and unfortunately, there wasn’t.

Her food arrived 30 minutes later, and guess what? the schnitzel had sunflower seeds which was not mentioned on the menu. (it was very disappointing that, when we told him she’s allergic to sunflower seeds: he failed to mention that the schnitzel has too! Keep in mind at this moment we are the only table he has .. ) On other hand, our pesto pasta was one of the best ones I ate in Istanbul! We both enjoyed our meal. At this point my friend wanted to see the manager and complain about what’s been happening. So they decided to make her a new meal and give us complimentary dessert As we didn’t want to have the dessert, but they insist, and guess what dessert they brought? 😅 tiramisu with alcohol! (We did tell our waiter that we don’t consume alcohol in the beginning). He was laughing and saying you can’t have this dessert without alcohol … ( ALSO, he said if it is a sin to drink , I’ll take the blame for you ) - this is the worse way of dealing with a client. So even when they wanted make up, they failed.

🥜‼️🥜If you will go this restaurant, and if you have any nut allergies BECAREFUL, almost everything has nuts, even the meals that usually don’t , will have it. and it’s not written in the menu ⚠️🥜

I feel bad for the owners, becasue of the unprofessional waiter they lost not only us but many more clients that we could’ve...

Suadiye Plaj Yolunda çok şık Fransız Restaurantı. 4 ay önce gittiğimde beğenmeyip (yorumu Google Haritalardan okuyabilirsiniz) şimdi de bayıldığım bir mekan oldu. Açıkçası ilk gittiğimde çok acelem vardı ve hızlı bir seçim, hızlı bir servis olmuştu.

🔴Başlangıç olarak Baklava Yufkasında Hindi, Peynir Kreması,Susamlı Ballı Balsamic Sos ve Lime servis ettik. Çıtır çıtır yufkasının içinde gayet lezzetli bir başlangıç oldu.

🔴Salata olarak Enginar Mini Yedikule sipariş verdik , Greyfurt, Dressing Sos, Karabuğday,Reyhan, Fesleğen, Turp, Renkli Cherry Domates Harika bir sosu ve tadı vardı tavsiye ederim.

🔴 Ana Yemek olarak, Tavuk Şinitzel, Kuruyemişli Pane, Hane Hardallı ve Otlu Patates Salatası

Yediğim en iyi şinitzellerden birisiydi diyebilirim👏👏👏

Et severler için güveçte pişmiş ve lezzetli bir seçenek.

🔴Tatlı Tercihim TIRAMISU, BAILEYS, MASCARPONE, KARAMELLI ÇIKOLATA dan yana olmasına rağmen tek hayal kırıklığına uğradığım, damak tadıma hiç uymayan bir seçenek oldu maalesef.

Ocak 2024 Bağdat Caddesi Suadiye’nin yeni gözdesi Fransız Restaurantı ve ayrıca şık kokteyl barı. Rezervasyon mutlaka yaptırılmalı aksi takdirde müsaitlik bulmanız mümkün değil.

⭕️Başlangıç olarak “İsli Burrata, mevsim meyvesi, Reyhan aıolı, isli tuz ⚫️Yediğim en yavan Burrata peyniriydi özellikle şeftali olmadığı için yanına koydukları olgunlaşmamış cennet hurması, sizi ağzınıza attığınıza pişman ediyor. ⭕️Mücver “ yeşil sebze mücver, mevsim meyvesi, cevizli kişnişli yoğurt ⚫️Tuzlu kek kıvamında bir mücver olmuş. Sadece Üzerini süsledikleri yoğurt çok şık. Zaten menüde özellikle zenginleştirilen çeşit çeşit yemek isimleri ve sunum şekiller harika ama lezzetleri için aynı şeyi söylemek mümkün değil. ⭕️Pizzalardan Dana Bonfile Tiftik “acılı bbq sos, kıtır soğan,pımenton aıolı tercih ettik. ⚫️ Yedikren sonra Bütün gece rahatsızlık veren bir pizza. Eti lokum gibi olmasına rağmen, sanırım sosu ile ilgili bir problem var. Steak bıçağı getirdikleri halde, pizzayı bile kesmekte zorlandık. ⭕️Vale hizmeti mevcut ⭕️Servis yapan arkadaşlar ilgili ve güleryüzlü ⭕️Servis ücretini kendi belirleyip, alan bir işletme.

Uzun süre hizmet verecek bir mekan olduğunu düşünmüyorum açıkçası. Gençler için bir süre revaçta olup, daha sonra geçecek bir mekan. Lezzetli bulduğum hiç bir şey olmadı maalesef. Ne oğlum ne ben memnun...

For this price, I was expecting a more elegant place. (Elegance in my lexique doesn’t mean to come with your Rolex or your Moncler , it would means eating in a silence place where client are acting with class, without screaming loudly).

Actually it’s even ridiculous to mix the table for dinner with the Bar. You are eating peacefully with your partner and the « aç kopec / men or women » are observing you.

Honestly food was ok but nothing special to make my palate exulting.

We made the reservation but they didn’t respect what had been promised to us.

In a Nutshell, if you want to show off and spend your money - you are at the right place.
