Cafe De Paris - Suadiye — Restaurant in Kadıköy

GO HERE FOR THE VIEW AND DRINKS, AVOID THEIR FIXED MENU.

Amazing view, amazing ambiance, fantastic music and service...the fixed menu was a complete joke. It is a lettuce wedge drenched in white sauce that tastes like mayo, followed by either beef or chicken in cafe de paris sauce and fries. For such an impressive view and service, my 6 guests joked the whole time that we were at an upscale McDonalds.

I asked to speak with the Manager, they sent me to the chef...I went back again to speak with the man who looked like the Manager, and he was extremely vague about who the actual manager was...ok, fine. Expressed my concerns with the fixed menu and he mentions we could have ordered food from the downstairs a la carte kitchen, an option we were never presented before.

Either way, I would go back for drinks. Never again for...

First of all I have to say place and view is amazing. One of the best place for have dinner or drink in Istanbul. But this is the only good part. Cocktails are ok but presentation is bad. Tables and bar and placed good, audience are quite nice and quality. But I can’t say the same for waiters. While they are talking with you always putting somethings in sentence for poke your nerves. Every dish is below expectations. Their “cafe de paris” sauce just making fries and meat salty nothing special. I think they tried to make same concept like in Paris restaurant but it didn’t happen sorry Everything is so expensive more than it deserves but this is not something negative, they want to have different level of customers. One last thing, music...

During our recent business trip, we stayed at a hotel below and decided to visit the rooftop for refreshments while awaiting the arrival of our full team. However, we encountered some unexpected behavior from enployes who insisted that the area was not a tourist spot and discouraged photography. Given that the rooftop was not unoccupied, we found this reaction puzzling. Once our colleagues arrived, we chose to relocate to a different area.
