Off the usual pathway of the tourist areas, this place is a must visit! Bring some friends and share everything. Wished I had the mindset to take photos of what we ate but in a flash, there were empty plates and bowls by the time it was all said and done.

The chef and staff don’t speak much English but are very accommodating. Amazing Turkish cuisine, just feels like your in their home kitchen.

Wish I lived in Izmir so I could eat here at least once a week. There's no menu, and wife and I had no idea what most of the dishes were, so we just pointed to things and the food DELIVERED! Dish after dish the flavors were rich, unique, and filling.

Apparently the menu changes every day, which is why I wish I could go back and taste some of the chef's other favorites. (Been here twice already). My wife's favorite is the chicken leg with melted cheese, and mine was grilled sea bass smothered in... some sort of amazing sauce (wish I took a picture of it... was too busy devouring...

We tried a variety of traditional dishes including eggplant with minced meat, white beans, okra, rice, lentil soup, and kubbah. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful. The meals were served with fresh salad and bread, which complemented the dishes nicely.
