Side Beach Club Restaurant — Restaurant in Manavgat

Well, well, this experience will be difficult to forget. Nice location and pleasant music, but this is not what restaurants normally are for, they are just a bonus to food, isn't it?. The good food, or rather decent balance of the quality (and quantity!) of food and it's price that's what this place, I'm afraid, is totally lack of. My husband got a very small steak, a teaspoon of rice, a couple of chips and a few peices of veg, representing the salad, for 29€. But my plate was something really extraordinary. I didn't realise that by ordering Greek Salad in Turkey, I made not just gastronomic mistake but perhaps political one as well. I'm not sure, but the fact is that my Greek salad turned to be just a humble pile of lettuce with one(1) small tomatoe cut in four. No sweet pepper, no cucumber, no other tomatoes, no olives, there were no even onions, not to mention feta cheese. Maybe just a couple of drops of some oil and salt. And the price I paid for that - 15€ and my huge disappointment. Someone on these reviews wrote about 17€ shrimp in this place, so I'm proud that my tomato was quite precious as well. There was still one good thing - I felt very light after the meal, not full at all! So strongly recommend to all diet concerned. Lighter...

Was here a few nights ago... not as good as it was last year... very pricey place serving cheap food... half of our 'beer plate' starter was missing but we were told it was because they had run out of a few things... so how about telling us before-hand so we could choose something else... waiters not as friendly as last year, all acting like they want your money more than they want you to have a pleasant evening... had to ask for a salad to go with our food and it was just parsley, a few leaves of mint and (what looked like) one cherry tomato cut into very tiny pieces... the pizza we ordered for our main was again just cheap ingredients... most got left... (what is it with Turkey and this luminous pink meat!!?)... WILL NOT be returning to this restaurant again... shame... it gets 3 stars for the location... and there's often...

Pre-facing this with the location is good and the live music is good. Here is your warning. DO NOT order the Surf and Turf or anything else "off of the menu". We ordered two of these and the prawns were absolutely rotten. The moment I tasted it, I knew it was off, and the consistency of the prawn was of an avocado. The rest of the dish was OK other than the fact that you get four chips/fries in a very tiny pot.

We were offered a starter (which was 👍) but funnily enough, they don't tell you the price and change the subject. It cost 52 euro.
