We had a 2 – night stay, check – in at September 13 and check – out at September 15. We checked in between 8 P.M and 9 P.M. and the receptionist on duty, simply forget about a smile, behaved like he was going to beat us up. We had chosen a land-view room over a seaview room, because it was cheaper. However, they placed me into a seaview room without asking. The receptionist told me that I had to change room next day, or I had to pay an additional 200 TL to remain in that room. What is the reason of changing rooms during an only 2 – night stay? I think they were trying to take whatever they could. I asked that angry receptionist what would I have to wait with my luggage in my hands from 12 PM to 2 PM until the new room becomes available, but he replied “no problem, your room will be available at 9 AM.” Next morning, we went to the reception and we learnt with no surprise that the information given to us previous night was a lie, there was not any available landview room at that time. Thankfully, the receptionist on duty was not the same guy and he was more sympathetic. He told me that I can stay in the same room without paying any difference. The room had no hot water, no shampoo, no soap, no slippers. It was the first time I have ever seen in a hotel that, they were saying in the printed instruction note that towels would be replaced once in 3 days, so we had to reuse them. Swimming pool is not big like shown in the photos, it is quite small. Seaview rooms had a safe and minibar but landview rooms did not. My friend was staying in a landview room, there were a safe there but they came over to the room and took the safe away. The only exception being the sympathetic receptionist about the involuntary room change issue, crew was generally very indifferent towards customers. Whatever problem you say, you get the answer “there is...

Read moreDeluxe room booked but not deluxe as arrived to find broken lamp in room, certain lights not working, bathroom was substandard with black mold, dirty shower tray, one very small bin for all rubbish including used toilet paper which we emptied ourselves as automatic house keeping wasn't carried out. The housekeeping staff where very nice and would happily when asked clean and change linen which seemed old and of poor quality. We asked for our room to be cleaned, change of towels etc twice in 10 days. The rooms, reception and the site in general are looking very tired and needs cleaning and updating. The pool area was acceptable, but again looks tired in areas. Breakfast was a typical turkish breakfast served to you and was sufficient. It would have been nice to have another choice of fruit rather than melon every day and be given the choice of boiled egg or omelette and not decided for you, plus the strange addition of french fries one day. The hotel area of the beach is well run by the one member of staff who works there every day. The location of the hotel is good for the beach, local shops and restaurants and a short walk along the seafront into the old town. It does seem that the hotel management are more interested in the restaurant for the public than in their hotel and guests. We asked for a coffee one evening before retiring to our room and was told no as only cold drinks are served after dark. If the hotel could be cleaned, general maintenance carried out and updated this would be a great little hotel. A hotel guest we spoke too agreed with...
