Arasta Kırım Tatar Çibörek Evi Arasta Çarşısı — Restaurant in Odunpazarı

As a home to the Crimean Tatar diaspora, the downtown area of Eskişehir can offer plenty of çibörek restaurants, but only this one makes the best çibörek in town!

Çibörek is traditionally made with meat, but in this restaurant you can find a vegetarian alternative filled with white cheese. Both are equally delicious as they are made fresh and right on the spot. Plus, they are served with homemade red sauce, and it is my absolute favorite. One portion of çibörek contains 5 pies, so if you come with company, go ahead and order one more portion to split — these pies are too good to stop at 5 😁 Another traditional dish called göbete is a crumbly millefeuille pie with a mix of mince and rice, but I was only lucky to try it once — it is always sold out. Additionally, this place serves a traditional type of soup called sorpa (also often sold out) and desserts. The beverage selection is modest (ayran, tea, mineral water, coke).

The indoor sitting area greets you with warmth, Crimean memorabilia and local families chatting over their meals while the tables outdoors face a lovely, peaceful inner yard. The staff is welcoming and deliver your order within 5-10 minutes.

All in all, this place has been my favorite for years, and I make sure to take all of my guests to this restaurant to give them the taste...

One of the best ones in town. One portion consists 5 Çiğ börek like other restaurants. This one had tastier dough. Filling was quite juicy and delicious. We were 2 friends and since we are tasting in different Çiğ börek shops, we wanted to share one portion. Then they served us 3 each.

Their Ayran was a different brand than popular ones, but has less salt and more creamy.
