La Pena — Restaurant in Urla

One of the best places in Urla to have dinner. Their original pizzas are exceptional (we had Urla). Appetizers are extremely delicious, especially the one with the goat cheese. We had to take a long walk after we finished our meal because we expected portions to be smaller, yet they were very fulfilling. They also have a cocktail and wine selection that you can combine with your meal.

Service staff took care of us was a very nice gentleman. Everything we needed provided in a timely manner.

Prices are at the mid-range. Comparing to Urla, they are pretty much affordable.

The pizza was good, the crust was especially delicious. The roasted meat on top of our pizza was quite dry. I think if I were to go again I’d try something different.

The Lasagna was impressive in terms of its composition and presentation but the flavor was nothing remarkable.

The house wine we had with the meal was delicious, well worth the price.

This place is pricey but the ambiance is beautiful and from that you feel like you might be in Italy.

The design of the restaurant sets the tone for relaxing and enjoying some wonderful tapas and wine! We had a large group of 11 and they managed to fit us into the central area and kept the food coming in waves of amazing tastes. The wines are from the local vineyards and only added to the enjoyable experience. This is a great place to come to before or after shopping in the local markets on the weekend...or just to make the drive when you crave some...
