The Almond Tree — Restaurant in Providenciales

Ambiance, Service, Food, Music: ALL 5 star, but: We’ve enjoyed meals all around the world. The grounds and beauty of this place are five star, yes. But the way they go out of their way to make your evening special is even greater. The concierge who greeted us did not ask whether we were staying there or not. We were not. He enthusiastically escorted us to the restaurant. The hostess was the kindest, and even related to us on such a personal level as to ask what it’s like to have been married for 25 years (Yes-we were celebrating our 25th). Vienna, our server, cared about every moment of our meal. As we’ve experienced more times than not, they forgot to put the dressing on the side. She wasn’t having it. She took it back against our resistance. The manager moved the fan for us in order to make us more comfortable, and another wait staff noticed our water needed refilling and immediately handled it. We never had to touch a thing. We eat lobster and escargot often, as well. We had a phenomenal family dinner at Almond Tree in Turks & Caicos! From the moment we walked in, the host greeted us with the friendliest smile and the warmest welcome. The ambiance was absolutely beautiful, with the centerpiece being a stunning almond tree that added to the restaurant’s charm.

The food was incredible! We enjoyed a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc alongside appetizers like the fresh house salad, tasty wings, and a delicious margarita brick oven pizza. For dinner, we tried the Mama’s Fried Chicken, fried grouper, gnocchi, and spaghetti bolognese — all cooked to perfection.

The live music in the background was fantastic; the singer’s voice really added to the atmosphere. To top it all off, we were treated to a delightful chocolate dessert surprise in celebration of a birthday, which was the perfect ending to an unforgettable evening.

The diverse wine menu, delicious food, and fantastic service made this experience truly special....

I am honestly shocked by the people who rated this anything but 5 stars. Just Karens being Karens. Our server was Venna and she was phenomenal - extremely helpful and very friendly. She said Mama's Fried Chicken was a lot of food and was not wrong - a whole chicken and a side. Plus, the cornbread served with it was some of the best cornbread I've ever had whether it be the southern US or anywhere. And the bananas foster was divine. Only thing to mention is to bring cash for a tip if you're not staying at the resort. There is a 15% gratuity added but that's nowhere near enough for the fantastic staff.
