St Anthony Restaurant – A Comedy in Three Courses
If I could give double minus zero, I would. Three of us came at 2PM excited for Ugandan food — one of us even Ugandan. The waitress floated over, whispering “no, we don’t have” to everything. Twenty minutes later she announced they’d run out of fish and beef… at lunch hour.
We ended up with chicken that wasn’t even the right chicken. One bite and my friend gave up. Then the finale: no phone payments, card only.
Huge place, empty atmosphere, tragic food. A standing ovation for chaos....

The luwombo (meat slow cooked in Banana leaves) they make is delicious and it contains enough meat to satisfy your appetite. Evenings are mostly busy. I had a nice experience.
