Read moreI recently dined at Piato and, unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the restaurant's reputation.
Upon arrival, I encountered a significant mix-up with our reservation. Despite confirming our booking twice earlier in the week, we were informed that our table had been given to another party. This led to an uncomfortable wait as the staff scrambled to find a solution, setting a negative tone for the evening.
The service was average at best. While our server was polite, they seemed more focused on expediting our main courses than ensuring we had an enjoyable dining experience. When it came time to order dessert, we were told the kitchen had closed and that ice cream was the only option available. This was particularly disappointing, especially since other diners received their full orders before the kitchen shut down.
As for the dishes we ordered, they were decent but lacked the creativity and depth I had anticipated.
Overall, my experience at Piato was underwhelming. With a reservation mix-up and lackluster service and food, I left feeling unsatisfied. I hope they can achieve the consistency that others have clearly...
