Located right in the centre, this place is very convenient for those that have business meetings, conventions, functions and any other special tasks to carry out within Kampala.
Security is quite tight. The checkpoint is quite small but endurable.
Enough sitting facilities in the reception as you wait to be served. The employees are friendly and listen to queries and requests.
Opposite the reception is the dining area, with a nice view of the indoor swimming pool. Well if you are the shy type, you might not swim in here. And if you are the athletic type, mind the people seated in the dining area.
I had my supper in here. It was great food. I only find the menu a bit limited to few choices. Nevertheless, they have good available choices of food, snacks and drinks.
I love their lift. So fast. I was able to pace to and from my room multiple times.
They've got large rooms. You might feel swallowed up if you are alone in it. A very comfortable bed, with clean beddings. An AC is available if you need to use it. Equipped with a TV, But I didn't have the time to check on what's on it.
The bathroom is classic. Clean and spacious. You have a tab and a shower in it. Warm water flows out so fast. Clean towels too.
An automatic lock is installed on the room's door so no worries of accidental bump ins.
Lastly, I wasn't disappointed by the Wifi. So fast and helped me out when I needed it.
Generally, not a bad place. I would recommend...

Being at the center of Kampala town, I found it convenient for my run a rounds.||Unfortunately, Hotel Triangle is not a place I would be returning soon nor recommend to any one. The building needs an urgent face lift. Though the rooms are of a good size, the carpet is visibly dirty, no bathroom slippers in the room, one wonders weather the towels are white or cream, they provide a small soap for bathing, the bath tub is dirty and the net curtains too. For the price they charge, you would expect to get coffee/tea making facilities in the room but this was not so. The food is terrible and always over salted forcing one to go eat else where.||The waiters and the receptionists are friendly, always willing to go an extra mile to please the guest but lack leadership/guidance.||During my entire stay, I never met the manager nor anyone in managerial position. I wonder if they have repeat guests since no one asks you how you came to know them. At one point, I asked to speak to the person who handles their Sales and Marketing but he never bothered to come out to speak to me. Business lost right there!||Hotel Triangle is a let down to Uganda Tourists Board. Though not all is lost if only you can work to bring this hotel up to the required standards.||After all is said and done, I must recommend them for their WiFi - it's strong...
