Friendly, welcoming staff. Great and comfortable seating. Loved the Coffees and Cappuccinos there. Best in Kampala! However, lately been having problems with very slow and inaccurate service. Orders taking very long to process. Out of milk for Cappuccinos (but only told after 25 Min. of waiting for it). Broken Coffee Machine. Very slow kitchen. Wrong orders brought out after waiting for a long time. Those things happening even with hardly any other customers present and an overload of staff available. Do understand that the place recently enlarged its space and added a new open Bar with Performance area for musicians. Hoping the little service timing issues will solve themselves soon so that Wild Coffee Bar goes back to being my favorite hangout...

This is not a serious coffeehouse. I get the feel that some muzungu is trying to recreate an “urban vibe” in the heart of Kampala’s industrial district. However, unlike NYC or LA or London… Kampala’s industrial area is still, well, industrial. Showed up around 2:30 on a Saturday and the place was vacant except for a couple workers. The “coffee bar” is on the top floor of a plus two walk up and is mostly unfinished with only one lonely barista machine and the two guys really had no idea how to pull a shot. To their credit, the two workers were quite polite and were willing to try. This might work as a nightclub… but don’t waste an hour of your life fighting the industrial area truck traffic if you’re looking for an...
