Ooooooh, this is my favourite ice cream place on the planet. No kidding. First of all, the ice cream is being made in front of your eyes here which makes it realllly impressive. But pay attention to make sure, there will be ice cream when you come. For this reason, it's better to call to the restaurant not only to book the table, but to book ice cream preparation too since it takes about 20 minutes and needs a person with knowledge to do it. There are other dishes can be done in front of your eyes, such as "farshmak", fish with butter and herbs. I always ask the waiter the such dishes cause there are several. There is also smoking terrace in summer time, but there the ice cream cannot be made, nor beautiful pot of tea for the safety reasons. Those who search for the ambience of classic service in an ultra luxury ambience need look no further. The Odessa has been designed with deliberate purpose to pamper sensibility. While the traffic and pedestrian business is presented like giant living art through the magnificent glass the intricate artwork of rope and bulbous candles defuse the chaos of an indifferent world. There is only one ambition in this dining experience... Its about the person sitting opposite you and the elegant feasts you will share. And share you must. From the magnificent presentation of the icy steaming brullee to the intoxicating seafood soup of cream and mussels, and prawns the size of your fingers.... This is my my 4th visit and an oasis for me everytime I visit Kyiv. Thank you to the owners and staff who obviously take such pride to this...

My date had the shrimps on zucchini cream with diablo pasta and she said it was very tasty, although the pasta was overcooked. I had the tuna tartare with avocado mousse and green arugula salad appetizer, which lacked a necessary element of acidity to bring the dish together and unfortunately, almost every bite was sinewy. For an entree, I had the dorado fillet on a cream of couscous and shrimp. The texture and flavor of the couscous was perfect, although no shrimps were served with my dish and whoever filleted the dorado is a novice, because my filet was inclusive of the fish rib cage; This was quite an unsettling experience at such a highly touted establishment. I will not be back! Gravely disappointed... if I pay this amount of money, I expect the restaurant to prepare food...
