19th Street Bar & Restaurant — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

My family used to love this place, especially the outdoor sitting and the ice cold beer. Not the white wines though. Especially after having lived in South Africa. We ordered a bunch of things which include the pizza for the kids that comes with 2 drinks. My brother got a beer for himself so I ordered a glass of white wine. I could hardly drink the wine. It tasted really awful... like a drop of white wine dilluted with water. I told our server about it and they offered a sauvignon blanc as a replacement which was ok. When we got the bill, not only did they charge us for the replacement wine but also charged us for the hot water and LEMON that I asked for which they put lime instead which I can hardly drink. It was a pretty disappointing visit! Please change your ceasar salad dressing. This is not ceasar salad at all!

We celebrated my husband’s 49th birthday at the 19th street bar and restaurant in Abudhabi Golf club on the 21st December. All our guests enjoyed carrying with them some precious memories that restaurant staff helped us create for them. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves hosting the event too. The ambience, the food and the service was fantastic. The staff members put on a lot of dedication and hardwork to get everything so perfect. The planning, decoration and the attention all the members of staff paid our guests and us was impeccable, they created and crafted the whole event in such a unique manner. 5 stars for the bar and drinks... And minus 3 stars for the food.

The outdoor seating is top, the beer and drinks selection is great and the service was good. Would go again to drink and sit outside... But the food... Certainly the worst food I've had in UAE.

We ordered the marguerita pizza... We got what looked like a frozen cheese pizza. Seriously. No tomato, no basil, no mozzarella cheese. I'm certain it's a frozen pizza or bad enough to taste like one. We ate a bite each and dropped it.

The Carolina chicken sandwich was also horrible... We didn't finish it either. A couple of bites and that's it.

The nachos were also pretty bad. No sure what cheese they used on top.

In short, go there for drinks and the outdoor seating. Eat before you go...
