Ritual Cafe & Studio — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Our recent visit to Ritual Cafe & Studio was extremely disappointing. Waiting 45 minutes for breakfast is simply unacceptable.

After placing our order, we patiently waited for 20–25 minutes before I had to go to the counter to check on it. They assured me it would be ready in "one minute." At that point, I asked them to at least serve the coffee while we waited. The coffee finally arrived five minutes later, meaning it took 30 minutes just to get a coffee.

Ten minutes after my first inquiry, my friend's breakfast arrived—cold. Meanwhile, my order was still pending. Twenty-five minutes after my first inquiry, I had to go back again, as my friend had already finished her cold breakfast while mine had yet to be served. Their response? "Oh, it's coming." At that point, I canceled my order and asked for the bill.

For training purposes, you cannot serve one meal and then bring the other one 30 minutes later at the same table—this is completely unacceptable.

I have to admit, the location and view are nice, and the coffee itself is good. But waiting 30 minutes just for a coffee and 45 minutes for food ruins the entire experience.

Me and my friends wanted to try some new place so went for brunch today after reading good reviews on Google but unfortunately I have to say it was by far our worst experience we ever had. First of all they are so understaffed, we waited for 20mins for the waiter to take the order. For every order we placed we were made to wait for atleast 40-45mins.. Had to remind the waiter to get us cutlery and top it all, one of our order that she confirmed initially was just cancelled because the waiter "thought" we didn't mention it despite being reminded about it twice. Although we loved the views and the overall ambience but then what's the point of going to a place where you end up getting disappointed. My one star is only for the views and the good food. Please hire some more staff and work on your customer...
