Very disappointing.

For a place that has only just opened you would expect much better service. The food is average. But even the best dinner in the world is easily ruined by a rude, dishonest manager and very undertrained staff. I will not publicly embarrass anyone on this platform but this place has a lot to learn when it comes to manners and respect. If you want to retain your customers start by acting like you care about them. Reem Island is a small place and word travels fast. On a side note, cramming your restaurant to a point where social distancing becomes impossible is probably not a good idea. These rules are in place for a reason.

Good luck in the future, but my friends and I will certainly never visit again.

Ps. It’s been 5 days since my review and I’ve noticed an all too familiar pattern. Lot’s of fake reviews claiming that Hassan is a master restauranteur and the staff are amazing. He’s clearly not and you’re not fooling anyone. Read all the real, one star reviews and you’ll get a clearer picture of what’s really going on. Your restaurant is already getting a bad rep.

Pps. For a manager to review their own restaurant with 5 stars as “nice” is truly scraping the barrel. No wonder no one can find you...

If you plan to go and sit to talk and chat with someone ( friends/partner) while smoking shesha and having a cup of coffee then THIS IS NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. If you are looking for a CLUB like atmosphere with SUPER loud music that makes it impossible to talk to anyone or on the phone, plus give you a headache then you can go and enjoy.

The manager is not professional OR friendly. Poor attitude! When we told him about the loud music bothering us he simply said IT IS WHAT IT IS , rude and thinking too much of themselves ! Did not bother to say ,ok we will reduce the volume or even being understanding of what their customers feel.

Seems like they do not value their client. They DO NOT give a dime if two people leave because they are sure 10 others would come ! This is not a vape shop where people come to buy no matter what because they want to smoke and they are looking for a product, not ambience or service! This is a cafe !!! Attitude , service ,ambience and customer opinion matters The manager need to understand that :)

Being in UAE for all my life, there are several factors that make me love this country. Diverse cultures and nationalities come together thus, giving you experiences to cherish. I was taken aback when I faced so much indifference at being Asian and entering the restaurant - right from the entrance where the lady looked at us and turned away and few seconds letter looked at me and my family and said 'Yes excuse me what do you want?' . I shrugged it off thinking maybe it was just the tone. When trying to place an order and enquire what would a particular dish be of , we were met with irritation and frustration and behavior such that you don't know this? This was rather appalling because that is definitely how you treat your customers. I will agree that the food was well made and I would have even said delicious - however due to the indifference I faced, it left a very bad taste with a lot of disappointment and hurt, because this is not something we face in...
