It’s a beautiful restaurant with crookedness in disguise, this message is to make all Dubai guides and the coordinators and tour managers who usher their groups to the restaurant to make them aware the height of crookedness of the Al Hadheerah management, Please note I was naively tricked into inviting to eat for dinner and then charged the bill to the company account by Mr. Hany manager of Al Hadheerah restaurant, a dinner invoice was sent to the company of 340AED after invitation, note, I had 10 Guests ushered for dinner to the venue on the 25th of April 2024, upon arrival to the desk I mentioned that we have a dinner reservation for 10 Guests and he mentioned (NO) it’s for 11 Guests, but the payment was done for only 10 Guests and I would be the 11th one I clarified, he mentioned it’s all taken care off, don’t worry, enjoy your dinner, these were his words with a wicked smile on his face now I must say after his treatment towards me, I agreed to eat at the restaurant, after I started eating half the way through he decides to call the company owner saying that your staff is also eating and the company must pay for my dinner, he then decides to send a bill of 340AED to the company to pay for my dinner I ate there, this was unbelievably wicked act, please note and make sure not to eat even if the managers of Al Hadheerah invite you as they then later conveniently send the bill/invoice to the company for the payment saying that your staff has joined the dinner, this was one of the worst and the horrible experience I had with Al Hadheerah restaurant manager Mr. Hany, treating me insanely for the fact that I was invited and then being charged, never again I will eat in Al Hadheera even if I am invited, please ask your company first whether you are included in the dinner booking or no, if not please pay and eat rather then going through such a horrible humiliation, please be aware as per Al Hadheerah policy even if you bring 500Guests to their venue it does not matter, there’s no complementary for any one at all, even the host has to pay, every single one must pay, so this is a genuine advise from a tour operator to every guide and coordinators and tour managers, tour leaders who host out there, out of good will, not to get tricked by his vicious invites as now you all know the consequences I had to face and experience. It’s not about 340AED but it’s about the transparency of the management towards the person and misleading to humiliation. I was not able to tolerate this nonsense and so I had to post this review to make all the host known the very crookedness of Al Hadheerah management and to bring this awkward and humiliating situation to everyone’s notice with all...

This desert restaurant has Outdoor seating, there is no indoor facility. Food spread were awesome. unlimited buffet with wide variety of food options. Tasty and quality spread. Great customer service and servings. live entertainments. there were some souq shops in the entrance. We brought an Arabic perfume from the first shop, it was very cheap and affordable. We also went to the cloth shop Next to the perfume shop. To our surprise the price were very very cheap. we brought a ladies top and a shawl, there was a sand art shop and the guy engaged our children to make the sand art in bottle, it was also very cheap. I would request everyone who visit there should support these traditional initiatives. The restaurant is awesome but it was too hot to dine outside. We went there on 12th of August and it was extreme summer. The fan cooler they provided near our table was not at all cooling. I informed them and a technician came and tried to fix it but still it was hot. we were sweating like anything. the live entertainment was awesome. Wide variety of dinner options. Ouzi lamb, chicken charcoal, shawarma station, steak station, kebab station, biriyani and variety of rice's, ice creams, Arabic bakery items, Arees, Arabic sweets and other deserts including um Ali and many more. They serve bread, hummus and muttabul as welcome snacks. Cold water and soft drinks are served on the table. Tasty food and unlimited. There is a bar and you have to pay for the spirits. The only problem we faced is the extreme heat. Since this restaurant is attached to Bab Al Shams resort, they should seriously move this facility to indoor. Rest everything was fine. Good service. Since the dinner was included in our stay in Bab Al Shams, I am not sure about the price...

This is not our first time at Al Hadheera, but this time, on first day of Eid, was very disappointing! I received the confirmation booking which said 6:30. We arrived at 6:45 and the restaurant was still closed with a very long queue! It was not pleasant waiting for more than 15 minutes to get in with a toddler. When asked, they said kitchen is not ready! A day before the kitchen was serving by 6:15 maximum during Ramadan. To get in, the lady called family names one after another in a very bizarre way; you don't expect to go through this at Al Hadheera. We got in, settled on a table that was set for 2 people although we were 3. My daughter was starving by then but food like pizza and kids stuff was not ready! We had to wait a lot to get her pizza and really didn't appreciate the attitude at the pastry section. Surprisingly, there was no kids section too! In general, variety of food was great as usual and quality was good. There was a long queue at the grill section because they were initially late and we ended up not trying the grill or seafood section because of the very long wait.

Around 9:30, we ask for the bill and left by 10 only to find the waiter running after us and saying you need to settle the bill!!!! In front of people who were looking, we told him of course bill is settled! It was a terrible experience to be honest. We came for iftar a couple of times during Ramadan and my daughter kept nagging she wants to go back. After this, I really doubt...

So, I think Al Hadheerah is one of these love it or hate it places, and I really loved it! I will start with the entertainment. I went there expecting a full touristy show (which is not bad bad per se if you are into these type of stuff) with belly dancers, dervish dances etc. You know, the generic "Oriental" show. That's what I got... BUT not only that! There was live music and singers who sung Arabic hits (I assume they were hits since all the Arabs in the place knew all the lyrics and were singing them!) that created a great atmosphere. Everybody was having fun with this part of the show which I would consider real middle eastern entertainment. I mean you could tell that it was authentic because (at least in my visit) more than half of the people there were Arabs enjoying their time, singing, and dancing! The food. The buffet was great. You can pick some things that could be improved but it was definitely not bad. The price. It is on the expensive side. It costs about the same like a good Dubai brunch, and you don't get the alcohol. If you want alcoholic drinks you pay them extra and I wouldn't consider cheap paying 50aed extra for a glass of wine... However, the entertainment they provide is definitely more than a Dubai brunch - unless you've seen a sword fight on horses in a Dubai brunch show! Also, they are on Entertainer so if you use that, it's worth it! All in all, great place, great show. I recommend it!

Food: 4/5 Service:3/5 Experience:2/5 Venue:1/5 I don't know where to start from but basically if you got kids and you are looking for a nice place to have Iftar at then you should definitely consider other options. The non smoking area is the worst spot there and our table was placed right next to the steps leading into it which was definitely a last minutes addition (although I booked a week before). The area is semi closed so they have some fans and coolers around but not enough for all the tables, it was really hot today. The venue layout is terrible and it is obvious the management is trying to make as much money as possible at the expense of customers' safety and comfort. The "Kids corner" is right next to the Shisha station !! There is not enough space between tables and some customers were casually walking around without masks. While some stations got waiters to serve you food as it is a buffet style restaurant, the majority of food corners are self service ! After seeing all the pictures on google maps I was really hoping I could have a special Iftar with my wife on her birthday, It was such a disappointing experience. Although the food and variety were really good, it is not worth the price or the long drive to get there. I don't think we are coming back to Al Hadheera anytime soon...
