Jones the Grocer (Radisson RED, DSO) — Restaurant in Dubai

I’ve been coming to this branch regularly to work, but today was absolutely unacceptable. I was sitting at my usual table transferring important files from my hard drive to my computer, something that required 4 uninterrupted hours.

Around lunchtime, I informed one of the staff members that I’d be stepping outside to the lobby for 20 minutes to eat and that I needed disposable cutlery. When I returned, my things had been moved without my permission, interrupting the entire process.

I asked the staff member who seated me earlier who had touched my belongings. He casually told me there was a reservation for 9 people and they needed the table. Not once was I informed of any reservation when I sat down that morning.

Then I spoke to the manager, who couldn’t care less that my transfer, 15% away from completion, was now ruined after working on it since 11 AM. He claimed the staff “didn’t know” where I was, even though I clearly told them, and I was literally 5 steps away outside the entrance.

To make things worse, he flat-out said those 9 people were more valuable than me, a regular customer who comes in every week to work and often grabs lunch and coffee. He offered a fake apology and contradicted himself, saying there was no reservation, but that they still needed the table. Meanwhile, there were plenty of other tables that could’ve been arranged for a group of 9 without touching my things.

The lack of respect, poor communication, and blatant disregard for a loyal customer is appalling. I used to enjoy coming here and even drove 30 minutes daily to do so. After today’s reckless and dismissive behavior, I won’t...

We had a fabulous breakfast experience! We were warmly greeted by Fikry—cheerful, welcoming, and all smiles, setting the perfect tone for our morning.

We ordered the Sambal Eggs, Bombay Benny, and the Big Breakfast—all of which were absolutely delicious. Each dish had a creative twist that truly elevated the flavors.

Chef Jerin’s culinary innovation shines through—simply brilliant! He personally came over, shared the inspiration behind the new dishes being curated here, and made us feel right at home..

We also learned that Chef Jerin is a DJ—full of passion, energy, and creativity. His vibrant personality and enterprising conversation left us inspired. A fantastic addition to the Jones the Grocer experience.

He even went out of his way to surprise us with a special Father’s Day dessert—the Lemon and Vanilla Posset. What a delightful treat to end the meal! Light, refreshing, and a must-try—highly recommended by Chef Jerin himself.

And to top it all off, our son charmed his way through Fikry and ended up with another Lemon Vanilla Posset treat.😬

We’ve been to many branches of Jones the Grocer, but this one truly stands out. 10/10 for food, ambiance, and service.

Jones the grocer is an ultimate experience with great food in a fantastic place. Really love the food flavors and taste. Love the way the food presented with vibrate colors. I have order the following food

1. let steaks together its had their steak’s full done and taste delicious love the taste and good for 4 people
2. Big Easy is also good platter with 4 sliders , one steak, chips
3. Salmon ahoy is the salmon with salad very tasty and with yummy sauce
4. Chargrilled Harrisa Chicken is arabic taste and with couscous a great combination
5. Jones Chicken Ceasar salad amazing taste and very yummy combinations 6 ) mocktails were delicious and refreshing love the passion fruit and strawberry
6. smoothies were also amazing soecially the berries blast
7. warm triple chocolate brownie very yummy yummy and delicious
8. pistachio milk cake is very good in taste and served with icecream
