First of all, Kana is one of the best well-known cafes in dubai , famous for Shisha , hospitality and professionalism, unlike this branch and its manager his name is Alaa who was very rude, racist and unprofessional..we had problem with Shisha and it was replaced 3 times but still something wrong with it , obviously with the setup itself at the end we left Shisha a side and continued our gathering. Before we ask for the bill, we have checked with the waiter if this shisha can be excluded from the bill but he refused which is ok and fair , and we paid the full bill , later we asked for the manager to report on this shisha since we know Kana standards for Shisha ..once he came he was very rude althought we told him we have already paid the bill and not looking for a refund , just wanted to report the Shisha at least waiting for his apology but he replied with rudeness saying no one complained about it and it's our problem and left us while talking , we became angery and i told him i will share this experience in a review and he said he doesn't care and acused me infront of the whole cafe that i'm blackmailing him for the bill amount which i have already paid and didn't even mention anything related to this and left us while speaking where we controlled the situation and didn't want esclalte it more .. It was a scene in the cafe where everyone is watching us getting humiliated by him and his stuff as he refused to give us his name and neither the staff did as well.i'm sure if we were locals or other Gcc natoinaltities he wouldn't dare to speak with this rudeness . I think the branch needs a more professional manager with a hospitality attitude other than this guys...

We’ve been coming to this café for over five years, mostly to watch football and enjoy a casual evening. Sadly, the experience has completely deteriorated.
During our recent visit, the waiter kept pestering us to order more drinks, even though our table had already ordered food, tea, and water. One person asked for water, which never arrived — not after 30 minutes, not at all. Instead, we got hassled with the line “everyone has to order a drink,” as if we hadn’t already.
Things went from annoying to absurd when the bald manager came over. He was incredibly rude, dismissive, and confrontational. When we calmly asked about the missing water, he refused — repeatedly — and raised his voice at us in front of the whole café. His argument? “Water doesn’t count.”
That response pretty much sums up the new attitude here. Zero respect for long-time customers, no sense of hospitality, and a manager who thinks being loud equals being right.
It’s a shame to see a place we once loved turn into this. We won’t be coming back — and we definitely don’t...

We had gone here on a Friday evening. Ordered our sheeshas. The sheesha came and within 15-20 mins it was hitting. We asked the sheesha guy to do something about the sheesha and he kept changing the coal. This happened 3 times. Until we went and spoke to the manager about it. He was sweet and got the sheesha changed. But again with 15-20 mins the sheesha died. On complaining again the sheesha guy came charging towards us like he's hit us for complaining about the sheesha. This was witnessed by the manager also. He did apologize for the sheesha guys behaviour. But we did argue a lot with the sheesha guy regarding his behaviour.
Next we had ordered a few dishes here. The quesadilla in particular took almost an hour to come. The rest of the food came and was consumed. But the quesadilla didn't come. On asking again and again we were told to wait for 2 mins. By almost each staff member Including the manager.
