Food was great! Desert was stunning! Atmosphere was amazing! Staff were so nice, welcoming, and respectable. However the only reason we went there was to listen to live oud performance. I went with my husband and my 10 year old daughter. There are 3 areas in the restaurant (A none smoking area, a smoking area, and an open area more like a really big roof top balcony with lovely lights if you can stand the heat ). The thing is the performance was in the smoking area and according to uae law, kids and pregnant women aren’t allowed to be around areas where there is smoke for their safety. All this I understand very well! However it’s not fair that people who came without their kids get to enjoy live performance and the ones who do have kids with them get left out in the other area just listening to the music and hear people clapping! It’s not a kid friendly place in my opinion! I was so excited to go there as I heard so much about the restaurant, but won’t be going there again!
