I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Pickl, and I feel compelled to share my negative encounter. I drove 20 minutes to this restaurant with high expectations, only to be met with unprofessionalism and an utter lack of flexibility from the supervisor, Melvin.

Upon placing my order at Pickl, I kindly requested to add onions as an additional ingredient to my lettuce wrap. However, to my disbelief, Melvin outright refused my simple request, citing an arbitrary company policy that apparently prohibits adding onions. I was taken aback by the sheer inflexibility and lack of customer focus demonstrated by the restaurant.

As a supervisor, Melvin's refusal to accommodate a basic customization request is deeply concerning. I had expected a higher level of professionalism and a willingness to cater to customer preferences. Instead, I was met with a dismissive attitude and an unwavering adherence to a seemingly arbitrary policy.

What truly aggravated me was the inconvenience caused by this unprofessional behavior. Not only did I waste my time driving to Pickl, but I also had to endure the frustration of being denied the opportunity to enjoy the meal I had come for. This level of unprofessional conduct is inexcusable and reflects poorly on the restaurant as a whole.

I strongly advise against dining at Pickl if you value customer service and expect your reasonable requests to be respected. It is disheartening to see a restaurant that fails to prioritize customer satisfaction and lacks the willingness to accommodate simple preferences such as adding onions to a dish.

In conclusion, my experience at Pickl was highly disappointing. Good news for all the burger fanatics, the newly opened Pickl restaurant at Madinat Badr Community (Al-Muhaisnah 1) has raised the bar of taste, freshness and quality to higher level. It definitely serves you as advertised. You won't be disappointed, no soggy buns, no processed meat, you get what you see in the picture. Menu is straightforward, choice of cheese burgers with bacon, chicken, beef or beyond meat (plant-based meat). All the ingredients are as fresh as nature. Do ask the experts at the Pickl restaurant about the ingredients on your plate and its origin. Their secret sauce and loaded fries are savory delights to messy finger-licking experience. The milkshakes are like out of the world experience. Vanilla, strawberry or chocolate, whatever the flavor is, you will end up in craving for more! On the top of that, the ambiance and relaxed outdoor seating with no fuss is the priced possession of the restaurant, especially for winter season. The staff was super-friendly and genial, keep in mind we dine with our kids (toddler and a baby). Warning, their chicken is SO good that you’ll get addicted and might end up eating it several days in a row. We’ve ordered it for home delivery through Deliveroo and it travels really well, they pack everything neatly and use eco-friendly packaging materials and utensils which is a plus.

Here’s what you need to know: the chicken is their best thing on the menu, very well seasoned, juicy and crispy on the outside. Great in a burger (try the caesar sando) and just as tenders.

their slightly spicy is spicy enough, if you go higher trust me it’ll be too hot to handle (at least for me it is) and you won’t be able to enjoy the taste of the chicken

the beef burgers are alright BUT the BBQ beef burger with bacon is definitely the best and a really tasty burger
