Pure Punjabi restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

Food Very tasty food! We are from London and very experienced in eating great Indian food. The quality and flavour of this food was very impressive. Not fancy and definitely no frills!

Service Also amazing. It only had about 8 tables or so, a small space and the service was rapid to say the least! We were in and out in less than an hour. Not a problem as it's not the place to spend hours in. You come here for the food and not the ambience. The waiter was great, stopped us ordering too much food which I love as it says something about their integrity and not wanting to rip you off. He also held back on the naans and brought them out as we ate to ensure they were piping hot. Amazing!

Bathroom Wasn't too bad but some room for improvement. The floor was completely drenched but some of that was the spray/hose thing going on.

Price Context here is we are in dubai and come from London. A meal for 2 mains and dessert cost us £20! We were over the moon and thought this was very cheap. Lots of reviews suggesting it's expensive but I'm guessing the people are from India expecting Indian prices?

This a place in international city. This is the parent kitchen for Punjabi Dhaba restaurant in Our Mehta.

Ample RTA parking behind and around. Food is is delicious as authentic Punjabi food is supposed to be so you won't be disappointed. Seating is available inside as well as outside. Very quick service and staff helps you select your dish and order quickly. Soya chaap, Amritsari Aalu kulcha, Sarso ka saag and Daal makhni is a must try and you will come back for the awesome taste. Kids high chair is available.

Very few tables inside and outside. Waiting time could be anything between 30 min to 1 hour during the weekend/ public holidays evenings. During summers outside seating is not advised due to high temperature. Tea is not served. Handwash area is not hygeinically miantained, so didn't check their washroom which is having door in the main dining...

The Best Punjabi- Sardarji food if you know what I mean. Typical Amritsari food authentic to the fresh masala being ground and used everyday for the meals, which means you never get heartburn or indigestion due to their food. The only Joint in UAE which actually means it when they use fresh ingredients. The Paneer & White butter is brought in from Amritsar every Sunday and they use pure Ghee for all their cookings . The taste of the food is exactly like what you find in amritsar and they do not compromise on the quality. The Must have dishes are Butter Chicken, Aloo Kulcha with white butter, Makke Di Roti & Sarsoon da Saag, Tandoori chicken, chicken Malai tikka, kaali daal, to name a few...you will come out of the restaurant with a satisfied smile :) and keep coming...
