Starbucks — Restaurant in Dubai

I recently visited Starbucks at Dubai Sports City and was disappointed with the experience. The iced Spanish latte I ordered didn't taste right, and the bisque burnt cheesecake was dry and hard. The table where we sat had drink stains and wasn't cleaned.

The service was lacking. The staff member who took our order was indifferent, and my sister felt he was rude. When I went to collect our order, another staff member offered to bring it to our table, which I appreciated. However, Ahmad, who took and prepared our order, refused to let his colleague serve it and handed it to me instead, which felt rude and unprofessional.

The only positive aspect was the helpful staff member who offered assistance. Unfortunately, this first visit did not leave a good impression. It "only" had an aesthetic and...

This is my favorite spot since I recently moved in near this area, staff are A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. the place is big enough for visitors.

It's a 24/7 and with drive through very convenient.

Seating outdoor during winter time is amazing, however very very dark they must provide lighting and maybe portable A/c(s) for summer time.

Inside though it's freeeeeeezing, some shifts would have the temperature on 20 while it's raining outside! but during other shifts they would decrease the cooling with looooots of thanks.

Wi-Fi is really very weak, an upgrade is a must.

I visited Starbucks – Dubai Sports City Drive-Thru on 13 August 2025 at around 11:45 PM.

There was one car ahead of me with a big order. My order was just a single coffee, but I still had to wait until they finished paying and collecting everything.

When I politely asked why customers with smaller orders can’t be served separately or why bigger orders can’t be asked to wait in parking, the staff member replied rudely, saying they “can’t do that.”

The delay itself was frustrating, but the attitude made it worse. We come to Starbucks for the great coffee and service — and I hope this is something that can be improved for a better customer experience in the future.
