Top notch service. Ian at Zabeel Social went above and beyond for us when we lost our credit card. When we spoke to the hotel reception, they told us they couldn’t find it. So we tried calling the bar directly the next day and speaking with Ian (who we met 2 nights earlier when we came for drinks). He thoroughly checked all the places we had sat, at Zabeel Social and next door at Amala, and found our card!!! Super grateful for him. Such a warm welcoming...

New British themed pub just opened on The Palm, Dubai. Kitted out more like a Mayfair Gentleman's Club. Hoegaarden on draught, Spanish football on the huge telly , and a massive selection of expensive Cuban cigars. The beef stew with Guinness gravy and little Shallots, baked in a big Yorkie pudd' , in a cast iron skillet , was excellent.
