Tahi Restaurant — Restaurant in Sharjah

The decor is beautiful and the menu looks so good but unfortunately that’s where it ends. I ate here with my husband last night. We ordered the Halloumi cheese, the Calamari and Lentil soup to start. The Halloumi was meant to come with tomato, local rocca, fresh plum, an onion balsamic jam, saffron labneh and a lemon dressing. I received cheese which was so salty it was unbearable to eat on shredded iceberg lettuce. No rocca, no plum, no jam, no labneh. The Calamari was meant to be homemade and with a pesto mayo. They were not homemade they were frozen and dripping in oil and there was no pesto mayonnaise! The lentil soup was fine. For mains I ordered the Gourmet burger and my husband ordered the chargrilled baby chicken with grilled vegetables. The burger was not Gourmet it was a frozen burger like what you buy in a pack in the super market, it came with chips which were also frozen. The chicken came as two chicken breast on a plate with a little sauce the chicken was dry and chewy that it was obviously either frozen or old. He received no grilled vegetables just a plate with two chicken fillets. The food was actually laughable and nothing matched the menu. It was definitely not a trained chef cooking our food or else they just don’t care about their customers or what they serve them. Great new restaurant in the new Novotel Hotel next to Sharjah Expo Center. As with all Novotel Hotels, they have great restaurants. Even though no alcohol is served, the experience was wonderful.the staff as always courteous and helpful. Always with and smile. I was surprised to see live music and surely welcome the change. Mr. Anas and Me. Abdelah who were waiting on us were really friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and and a very good overall experience. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to...

We just had dinner at Tahi restaurant in Novotel, Sharjah branch, and it was an amazing experience! It was our first time to try this place, and all the positive reviews we read online were indeed true! Good food, nice ambiance and above all, the service was excellent! A special thank you to Ahlam, such a friendly and genuine personality with a smile that is so warm and accommodating, very professional, and such attention to detail. We will definitely go back again for more...
