Pizzerella — Restaurant in Aberdeen City

We visited this place in February as a friend was in Aberdeen and I was looking forward to try their pizza for a while now. The restaurant was rather quiet, as it was a Saturday evening. The service was impeccable and the couple serving us were lovely and catered to all our needs. We were able to get half&half pizzas too, which was even better as we were able to try more flavours.

The pizza was delicious and the portion size and ingredient amount was very generous. Even though we didn't manage to finish it, we were offered a box to take it home and also a discount on the purchase which was a very nice surprise. The quality and flavour were outstanding. The base and spices they used tasted similar to the pizzas I used to have as a kid at home in Romania. This was an unexpected happy experience to have, as it brought back a lot of memories from when my grandmother used to take me out for lunch to my favourite pizza place when I was 5-6 years old.

Going back to the review, I really appreciated how they didn't use that much oil, so you can actually taste the ingredients. I am unable to compare this pizza experience with anything else I had in Scotland so far, as it's neither American style nor Neapolitan style, but rather a delicious in-between that's way more common where I come from.

They also do in-house deliveries, but pictured below is my gf helping get the pizzas home after a long cycle on another occasion. They also seem to be open quite late and they do takeaway too so don't hesitate to give them a call and support a wonderful...

Ordered a delivery this evening,everything arrived in good time and hot ,so far so good.order was the signature or I assume it is as it’s named after the place and the meat pizza. Plenty toppings on both looked the part,now the down side.Both in my and my partners opinion were undercooked,not raw but could have done with a good 5 mins more.There was little or no sauce to speak of on either and way to much of a green herb sprinkled over them oregano I believe.To the point where it was just about all that I could taste.overall a bit underwhelming considering the other reviews and certainly not the best pizza...

The pizza was excellent! I ate there with my family a little over a week ago. Just perfect to end the day. We ordered their version of a hot and spicy pizza, pepperoni, jalapeno, one or two other ingredients. Business must have been slow on this night, because we were the only ones in the restaurant. Didn't see anything else happening. Good number of options, including some vegetarian choices.

There were some cleaning supplies left out, but to be fair, I didn't see any place else they could put them. Again, pizza was outstanding, service may have been a little slow, but...
