Recently I was looking for information on my house, which is an old listed building. I visited the Aberdeen City Library and Craig at information took the time to review my queries. Thereafter he took the time to research and exhaust all avenues in searching for information, which took some time. He then sent me out a a detailed email with all the relevant websites and repositories, explaining his findings to allow me to explore further. It really was informative and he went above and beyond what was expected. It is a pleasure to meet someone who takes pride in their work and who is so knowledgeable in his field. Thank you Craig!! Read moreThe staff were very nice however the upstairs of the first floor (nonfiction section) can only be accessed by a locked lift. Staff have to let you both up and down in the lift and when the staff members leave and inevitably forget about you despite saying they'd be back in ten minutes, it means you're stuck with absolutely no way back downstairs. I was left for over half an hour with no way of getting downstairs as even the lift call button requires a key. I had to painfully get my disabled self and my mobility aid down a flight of stairs.
