A Sunday Delight at Wild Lemon – A Feast for the Senses!

From the moment I stepped into Wild Lemon, I knew I was in for something truly special. This gem of a restaurant offers a modern twist on fusion cuisine that is both imaginative and utterly delightful.

First off, the atmosphere at Wild Lemon strikes the perfect balance between elegance and comfort. The contemporary decor creates a welcoming vibe that complements the sophisticated menu flawlessly. It's ideal for a romantic dinner, a family gathering or a special occasion that calls for a refined dining experience.

Now, let’s talk about the food - specifically, the Sunday Roast, which is a showstopper. The well known chefs showcase their incredible talent and attention to detail through every dish served. The roast is succulent and cooked to perfection, accompanied by lovely sides that are each a standout on their own. The Yorkshire puddings are airy and crisp, the roast potatoes are perfectly golden with a fluffy interior, and the seasonal vegetables are seasoned to enhance their natural flavors without overpowering. Each bite is a testament to the chefs’ prowess and a deep respect for British culinary traditions.

The service at Wild Lemon is impeccable. Staff are knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making you feel both esteemed and at ease throughout the entire meal. They are more than willing to share recommendations and go the extra mile to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of spectacular.

Highly...

Just excellent. Looking in the window you'd be forgiven for thinking 'wait, French Buddha, in Shoreham?'. Well yes. A welcoming atmosphere with a gastro pub yoga studio mash up going on, an incredibly welcoming team and then there is the food. Sitting down you'll notice the anticipation of your fellow diners. They have been here before and are looking forward to it. Good sign. We had the fig and parma ham entree (wow) and the salmon gravlax (absolutely delicious). The wine was something special and then to the aubergine dukkah and the chicken breast. The aubergine I could have eaten three or four times. Fiesty and rich. And the chicken, wow. Succulent and perfectly portioned. And I'm not even done yet. The Tarte tatin (between two, one has a waistline to consider) was EPIC. Yes, worth shouting about. Whatever they did to that apple, they fixed it. Finger licking, stop listening to whoever is talking good. Very good. Highly...

Four of us booked Saturday lunchtime for a final family birthday event of the week. We were all delighted with Wild Lemon's ambience, food and service. Starters included calamari, French onion soup and vegetarian sweet potatoes, coconut and cashew nuts fritters. To follow two had the Moules Frites off the specials board, and our vegetarian had a spectacular avocado bap with halloumi and grilled aubergine, tomatoes, and chilli pickles. I was so happy with my braised lamb shoulder (cooked for 6 hours, with confit lemon, chili, coriander, coconut milk, and 5 spices, served with confit potatoes). This is a stand-out dish - so tender, with subtle flavours. The 'bap' and mussels were accompanied by some of the best hand-cut home cooked chips. We'd had olives and bread baskets on the table to start and finished with some decadent desserts. Wide selection of good value wines and beers too. Highly recommended and a real asset...

Absolutely delicious food every time. Most recently, we went to the Kerala night where we were served several Keralan dishes, all beautifully seasoned and all gluten free. The service is attentive without being fawning and the head chefs popped over to our table to check we were happy. We were. I’ve had vegetarian dishes, steak and roast dinners - it’s all been exactly what one would expect at that price point from experienced chefs who love food. The wine selection is well sourced and the cocktail waiter knows what he’s doing. Love this place. The food was £30/head for the set menu for meat eaters. I think it was cheaper for the veggies.
