Grapes Inn — Restaurant in Amber Valley

This is our "local" and has been transformed under new management since our move to Belper 2 years ago. Now in 21stC taking card payments not just cash, very nice atmosphere, dog-friendly, welcoming staff. We had pizzas on a Tues night with special offer on cask beer and they were great! Feels like a real genuine local and they are also expanding the evening menu shortly. Also the advantage of a much shorter uphill walk home than going into town! Keep up the good work...

This is a perfect pub for everyone. They are so warm and welcoming and now serving great food on top of the well kept beer! Since the new landlords took on the pub it's being going from strength to strength and I am pleased my 'local' is probably the best pub in Belper! It is a good old fashioned pub with a sports viewing room now, great quiz on Sundays, fantastic terrace in the sunshine with great music on. Oh and they love dogs! Keep up the...

Had a really lovely night! My pie and my friends pepperoni loaded fries were absolutely delicious, and the landlord and the rest of his staff were so welcoming and lovely. We participated in the quiz and despite not winning, had a fab night. A member of our group also won the card game which was a really nice highlight! We aren’t from Belper but would recommend this pub to anyone as it’s been the highlight...
