Shocking service shocking food shocking overall.. Kat Hawkins being a deputy manager if that is true should be ashamed.. bought our drinks pretty much slammed them down not a hello nothing. Left the drinks on the tray at the edge of the table and walked off. Drinks order was wrong also.. waited ages for our food.. wouldn’t mind if it was nice but this again was almost as bad as kats service and manners. Burger was definitely microwaved chips were stale and looked old chicken was dry and inedible and sausages looked raw.. I can only assume this was as the pub was very busy.. oh my mistake it was very quiet. It probably had more to do with the fact the so called deputy manger is friends with an ex of mine.. table next to us had the same order pretty much and looked completely different. Try to raise issues with said deputy manager or staff to no avail as texting laughing and joking with other customers is more important.. the only customers who look to be having a good time are the drunk or high ones.. definitely will not...

We ordered food and a drink using their Wednesday offers. First of all they tried to charge me full price, then when I pointed this out claimed some of what I ordered wasn't on the offer menu. Eventually agreed to offer prices.

But the one star comes from the food.... The food arrived after 50 minutes, 20 minutes after we were told it would be a further 2 minutes.

We had three meals... Not one was as expected. No one came to ask if meal was OK. No one apologised for wait.

Katsu Chicken burger - asked for no lettuce, clearly came with signs that lettuce had just been removed but also with no onion or any other extra bits. Chicken and bacon burger simply had no bacon. Chicken and bacon melt was burnt so much the chicken was black and solid at one end and dry throughout. The bacon was similarly solid.

If I could give nought stars I would. Worse pub food I have had for many many years. And Belper has won awards, clearly not for...
