Rustington Bakery — Restaurant in Arun

New owners won’t last. Went in today for 4 rolls and a slice of something sweet. It took two members of staff to add up my bill and it was still wrong. I wasn’t going to pay nearly £6 for my £3.80 lunch! The rolls looked great but tasted stale and the lemon slice was completely bland. When I was in there the new owner barked rudely at the customers sitting down to leave because other customers had entered the shop. Prices have gone up, quality has gone down and customer service is at an all time low.

This shop has a serious safety concern which I shall be reporting to the council. When you leave the shop there is a black shelf which extends out, attached to the end is a metal plate which caused me to graze my leg badly enough to draw blood. This will be reported today to Trading Standards. The Manager Sharon couldn't have cared less when I informed her. Would encourage anyone else injuring themselves to also report...

Was visiting Rustington and spotted the rock cakes in the window which looked delicious. Popped in and brought sausage rolls and rock cakes. The sausage rolls were very tasty and the pastry was flaky. No greasy fingers. Perfect. Had the rock cakes the following day. Again just how we like them.
