Wonderful family friendly Cafè with off street parking and plenty of space. Honest, home cooked food with café style drinks available. Kids and adults alike are able to paint and decorate their own plaster masterpiece. Wide choice of things to decorate from small egg cups to money boxes, plates, cars and more! Staff are extremely helpful and friendly with no rush. Certainly worth a visit if your looking for something different to do with the kids! Will be back next time we’re in town for sure.

Dog friendly. Looks very cute at night with all the lights on the tables, nice open space and friendly staff. Just went for coffee and toast but they have pastries and breakfast items, gluten free bread available. Would like to eat here at some point! Although peppermint tea, oat pumpkin cappuccino and marmalade gf toast came to £9 which i think is quite a bit...!

Hugo’s 1st birthday today he wanted to go to the The Orange Tree Ferring - mark had the big breakfast & the boys had scrambled eggs …. We took some lovely carrot cake home made on the premises by Tom…. Popped to Browns Natural Pet Store where they gave him a birthday bag We found a pixie 🧚‍♀️ on the way home in the graveyard to It’s a dogs life

I have previously visited the Orange Tree on a number of occasions, including last October when the Simply Veg food van was there one Saturday night…great food by the way!..Always enjoy my visits and easily my favourite place for great coffee and food (I live in Hove and travel over to Ferring especially)..I visited this morning with my sister and her partner, who drove all the way over from Eastbourne. Due to be closed over the New Year, the team were waiting on a food delivery for some items. My sister is vegan, so we ordered the village green breakfast.. without the eggs for my sis. Because the food delivery hadn’t arrived, there were no veggie sausages. However, a team member popped to the local shops to buy some.. and whist we had to wait a bit longer for our food, all three of us were given complimentary hot drinks.. nothing seemed too much trouble..! You would be amazed at the number of cafes that don’t even have sunflower spread to cater for vegans too.. and of course the Orange Tree do…love this place! Thanks to the team..and a happy and...

2023: New owners have totally revamped, new name, new flooring, new bar area, new decor. No more crafts or gifts on sale, (a bit of a shame, but there is much more space now and they have a different vision for the place which is fair, also gives the local charity shops a better chance) the place has evolved a lot in the last 6 months. Plan is to open eves as a bar. Still same great cafe atmosphere, great drinks, lovely friendly staff and service and good food. Still great cakes, scones etc made in house (they do run out😁), and breakfast runs til later now. Still very dog and child friendly! And I still love to visit regularly, feel very welcome every time. Often busy but you're not rushed. Still limited parking, but it is on the route of the 700 Coastliner and the local no 8 buses.

2018: Visit regularly, always a warm welcome. Good food, great cakes and beverages, friendly helpful staff. Limited parking out front but can use car park to side of...

I ordered a plain jacket potato which comes with salad and coleslaw. When It came there wasn't any coleslaw. My daughter and partner also had jacket potatoes and again missing the coleslaw. My daughter went to ask why and was told they had run out and were making some more (it would have been nice to have been told and why let the stock get so low?) Half way through the meal my daughter noticed little black bugs in her salad! I returned the meal and was told the bugs would just have been from the salad. A new salad and plain jacket were given then they realised her meal had cheese and bacon with it so came back with a small pot of cheese. After all three of us had finished our meals the small pot of coleslaw arrived! We eat it as I can't stand waste. Unfortunately we did not feel really pleased with the salad or the sticky dirty table. For the price of the food I feel very let down, and...
