Nibbles Railway Cafe — Restaurant in Ashford

We just happened to be passing by when I noticed a sign for Nibbles; it looked ideal for a quick coffee and something to eat. This place is an absolute gem. It offers a great menu selection and excellent quality food at reasonable prices. I had a mug of decaffeinated tea and a hot dog. The hot dog was fantastic—it's the real deal! The proprietors are husband and wife and are really friendly. They are great fun to talk to. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit and will visit again the next time I am in the area.

UPDATE 4/12/23 I popped into Nibbles today and had a full English breakfast. It was fantastic, beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked with decent-sized portions. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a photo, but trust me when I say it's excellent value for money. 10 out of 10. Highly recommended!

UPDATE 17/8/24 I popped in again and had a lovely cheeseburger and chips, and it was great! Excellent service and had a pleasant chat with the owners, charming people. Very consistent, high-quality food.

Great coffee, delicious food, absolutely amazing people!! We always use Nibbles for a pit stop on our way to or from Camber. We’ve had coffee, ice cream, pastries and breakfast baps and they’ve always all been super-tasty. But, the cherry on top is the people who run it. They are absolute angels. We stopped there recently on our way back from Camber and I left my handbag behind with my purse incl. all my cards, driving licence etc. After trying to hunt me down on social media for a few days (with no joy), the owner, Dave, made the 1hr + round-trip to drop my bag off to my house (using the address on my driving license). I’m a complete numpty and hadn’t even realised I’d lost it at this point, so was so surprised when I answered the door. Thank you Dave and all at Nibbles for being such decent people and really going above and beyond to get my bag back to me. Faith in humanity restored! We will stop there...

I can't say enough good things about Nibbles in Newenden! Every time I find myself working in the area, I make it a point to stop by this charming place. The people here are truly amazing - always greeting you with a warm smile and making you feel right at home.

The food is nothing short of excellent. Everything I've tried has been delicious, but my absolute favourite has to be the Veggie Deluxe pizza. It's a delightful medley of fresh vegetables on a perfectly baked crust, a true treat for the taste buds!
