Ferguson's Delicatessen — Restaurant in Babergh

Wow, just wow Cycling through and found the most beautiful, amazingly, well stocked delicatessen. Bought an expresso and bacon and brie toastie for a pit stop, and the lady kindly allowed me to choose any condiments to add. (Chilli jam 😋) Both were priced extremely competitive, and the taste was delicious. I'm was impressed I purchased local honey( Boxford) and chocolate brownie, scotch egg with chorizo, sausage roll with bacon, and anchovy pate. It is extremely well priced for very quality produce. The young man was very friendly and both the ladies were engaging and very knowledgeable. The cheese selection they offer is has good as noted in West & East London delicatessens, and they even offered to source any cheese I wanted. I will certainly take I their kind offer and also return for coffee and a snack on my cycle through Essex and Suffolk borders. 10/10...

I try soooo hard not to get lunch from here too often because I could easily spend a fortune. Not that the prices aren’t reasonable, because they very much are. It’s just that the second I walk in I want to buy all the things. Beautiful, huge, generously filled sandwiches, delicious cakes and much more - and the staff are so pleasant and helpful.

Fresh cut bread, amazing fillings. Imagine your wife or partner making your favourite sandwich (tastes better than when we make it? Exactly) these guys will make you that loverly sandwich. Btw my wife still makes the best sandwich (in case she’s reading). This is good old original sandwich making before your eyes. No pre-packed best before dates here.
