Cute pub serving good quality hearty fare. The owners and patrons are welcoming and friendly which is more than can be said for other pubs in the area. In the winter they also have a lovely wood burner blazing and in the summer a cute outside patio garden. Great little timber framed pub, close to the swimming pool and park in Hadleigh. I visit it with my son to watch football games occasionally. They are always very welcoming of me and my son and there is the choice of three screens in different rooms to watch sports on. They show most sports in the pub. Do not visit this so called pub if you want a welcoming greeting..landlord reminded me of basil fawlty..but without the humour..they seemingly have never heard of a latte..Do not serve food at all..his own words..and my son and his girlfriend brought our grandson in and was told by BASIL. that no children where allowed at all..if you want a nice pub to go to dont go here..as the name of the pub suggests the landlord...
