Been here several times and never had a bad meal. The service is really good and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Everything I've tried on the menu so far has been really tasty. The portion sizes are good and the prices are similar to other Indian restaurants in the area. Overall a pleasant dining experience.

Had take away, chilli chicken masala, rice, bread. Around £25 with side and drink. Very good chilli chicken made hotter for my taste. Very nice inside with very good greeter/ manager. Half the time I looked to see if there are easy parking on Google maps and this place had plenty.

First time going and it was lovely, Poppadoms, starter and a main with a nice pint of kingfisher. Everything was very nice and so were the staff. Definitely recommend for any time of group if it's 2 mates going for a curry or a family catching up.

A nice middle of the road Indian that strikes me as being ran by someone who really cares, but needs to delegate things to others. For instance the building is lovely, and some areas of the interior are really nice (others are average), but the exterior needs a repaint, the car park needs surfacing or similar, and the patio areas need weeding! Put it this way if you passed when it wasn't open it looks like it's been shut and abandoned 6 months.

Sort those bits out and get rid of your blue LEDs outside and the colour changing LEDs inside (don't lower yourself to that cheap tacky Indian look) and you've got a nice classy Indian.

Minor point: do a check round the building for bulbs that are out as I noticed a few, and also get rid of the single ceiling spotlight bulb in the top area of the restaurant. It blinds you if you sit on the table it shines on, and makes you feel like you're in full view of...

We've been there a few times now. The owner is great, always attentive, however, I don't always feel it fully reflected by other staff. On arrival we were advised to sit down and we'll get our drinks order taken but it never happened. When we get a table it is upstairs at the back and always quite cold so you never take off your jumpers or coats. Food from order to service is a little slow, but the food is always very tasty. Rice portions are definitely for individual servings and not ideal to share but naans are large enough to share. Prices are ok for restaurant rates and they have a decent selection of beers. It was good to see it busy I just hope the enthusiasm with staff flows down from the owner and some...

I visited this place yesterday and received the worst service I have ever had in a restaurant. The Staff were unhelpful, we were left without drinks for 30 mins and when we approached the bar were told to sit down as its table service. The chef wasn't willing to attempt to cook anything for a vegan therefore they were left without a meal, i mean how hard is it to cook some curried vegetables at the very least but they just said no! They brought no cutlery out for the main so I ate my curry with a spoon as again there were no staff around. Poor service, would never visit again and wouldn't recommend, there as far superior Indian restaurants in Barnsley with excellent service and food, dont waste your...
