VISIT DATE: WED 05/02/2025 VISIT TIME: 12:00-13:00 Went for lunch with my Aunt, who lives nearby. Had never been before and wouldn’t have known it existed, were it not for my Aunt, as it’s not visible from the main road, being part of a little shopping centre bit which you get to, if driving, by coming off the roundabout down a road that looks like it leads to nowhere! On arrival, it didn’t look particularly special from the outside, but even at midday, it was already busy, showing it is a popular place. Though it was busy, staff were friendly and attentive and we were quickly seated and served. Menu is good, with plenty of traditional cafe options and the price is standard for this type of place. I went for a full English and was very pleased with the presentation, portion size and taste, whilst my Aunt had a sandwich. Based on the quality of the food and how nice the staff were, I would return. The interior was fairly clean and tidy, though the toilets needed a good clean and tidy up. Was good to see it was accessible, with an accessible toilet, though could be tricky to navigate in a larger wheelchair when busy. There is free parking outside.

Went here on Sunday we've been here before and never been disappointed and today the food was absolutely delicious. From the start parking outside, then entering the restaurant we sat down and was immediately seen to by a server who was really nice and pleasant with us. We only waited a short while and it was quite busy in there but the atmosphere was lovely. We ordered a ham and cheese omelette which came with beans and chips and a chef's breakfast which was massive this came with 2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, button mushrooms, curly fries, a burger, fresh grilled tomatoes and 2 slices of bread and butter. Wow what can say I tried my wife's omelette which was to die for, full of flavour and so scrumptious and filling. My chefs breakfast was amazing couldn't fault it in anyway. Portions were spot on. Staff here are very friendly and lovely. Top marks to the chef. We cannot wait to come back.

For a greasy spoon it was OK. The food was edible and at a good price. Not amazing but if you are into that sort of thing then give it a whirl. The clientele are an acquired taste with the older generation seeming to like starting a good scrap about parking bays. Conveniently located directly adjacent to the Co-op and parking lot. The highstreet is less than a minute walk. Toilets are on site. The establishment was only taking cash payments at the time of visiting but cash machines are readily available within a short walk. Staff were friendly enough and we did not feel pressured to leave. Plates could have been cleared a tad quicker and directions given on how to pay, as well as notification that it was cash only. This is a walk in and sit yourself cafe.

I would highly recommend this cafe after visiting yesterday for some lunch, the staff are very welcoming and polite, the menu has so much choice even for vegetarians like myself, where I usually struggle to order I was spoilt for choice at Mem's Kitchen, we were acknowledged instantly when we entered the cafe and greeted with a very friendly 'hello welcome to Mem' s kitchen, please take a seat and someone will be right with you' upon taking our seats we were seen almost instantly which I thought was great with how busy the cafe was also the waitress gave my son a colouring book and some pencils to keep him occupied whilst we waited for our food, which to my suprise because of how busy the cafe was, the food came out super quick and the presentation was absolutely immaculate, I ordered a mozerella, tomato and basil pannini with a side salad and chips, everything about the meal was absolutely beautiful, the way the salad was laid out on the plate I felt bad for eating it and messing it up. I also noticed how much the waitresses were on the ball with new customers coming in and the old ones leaving.. All of the customers were greeted so warmly, this cafe had such a friendly atmosphere and the amount of food being ordered, I couldn't beleive how quick the food was coming out I thought to myself there must be quite a few chefs in there working but to my suprise when I asked the waitress there was only one working called Mr Yazz, as I mentioned above the food was delicious and the presentation immaculate.. What an absolute credit to that company, very hard working and also proved very passionate about his job. Nicky and Charlotte.. The waitresses both checked on us a few times whilst we were there to see if everything was OK with our meals which was really nice of them and made me feel very welcome.. I can't beleive how fast they work in there managing to greet everyone who comes in and leaves. I will most definetly be visiting Mem's Kitchen again, they had such a wide variety of food to choose from which I also thought was fantastic. So glad I found this little gem and again I would highly recommend...
