Good local neighbourhood coffee shop, I imagine it does quite well in the local area and during my visit it was clearly well represented by folks that were familiar with the team and the business. I've given it 3 stars for 2 reasons. 1 - I arrived just after 9am, only person in the queue and after placing my order had to wait about 10minutes for it, which is quite unreal considering I had only ordered a double espresso and crossaint. 2 - Price. £3.75 for a double espresso is extortionate int his day and age. Of all the shops in London or across the country, it's generally £2.40-£2.80 maybe £3 at a push. It wasn't justified by specially sourced beans and there was no mention to why the price is what it is, but when I checked my receipt I found the crossaint to be £2.70 which is brilliant value, but £3.75 for an espresso? I won't visit again on that basis alone.

Was food delivering in Whitchurch on Wednesday. Looking for a coffee and found Kudos on Google maps. Nice looking place. Clean. Toilet in back. Nice staff. Asked for a black Americano, and was asked if I'd be interested in / try their filter coffee. Was really nice and clean tasting. Filter is a nicer / cleaner tasting coffee, method in my opinion. Plus you don't get quality filter coffee in many cafes. Food looked good. Will be back if I'm in the area again. I do recommend. Parking is a real problem in Whitchurch. Do your research.

I always try to visit Kudos when in Whitchurch. Service is always friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is calm and enjoyable. The baked goods are great and there is a large range of them and other foods, including breakfast options. There is a huge selection of got and cold drinks, including some fabulous milkshakes.

Kudos Coffee – A Gem in Whitchurch!

If you’re ever in Whitchurch, Hampshire, and looking for a fantastic coffee spot, Kudos Coffee is an absolute must-visit. This family-run business exudes warmth and charm, making you feel welcome the moment you step through the door.

The coffee? Exceptional. You can tell it’s made with care and expertise—rich, smooth, and just what you need to start your day or perk yourself up in the afternoon. The sandwiches and cakes are equally impressive, with fresh, delicious flavors that cater to every craving. Whether you’re after a quick bite or a leisurely treat, there’s something for everyone here.

What makes Kudos even more special is its dog-friendly vibe. It’s the perfect place to bring your four-legged friend along for a relaxing visit. The staff are always friendly, and their love for the local community shines through in everything they do.

All in all, Kudos Coffee is a shining example of what a great local café should be. Highly recommend popping in—you won’t be...

This is my go to local coffee house for drinking out. There is a great selection of coffees, foods and snacks. The staff are all really friendly and always helpful. There is something not quite right with the coffee though. After watching the baristas at work they are doing everything correctly. I recently purchased some fresh roast beans from there (which I assume they use in house). I then found the problem. Their blend of coffee is quite bitter and has a slight taste of treacle. I had tried various grind sizes and amounts but can't improve the taste. I would give the 5 stars if they could offer slightly tastier coffee (which I know is personal preference) but also if they could offer single origin coffees too.

(Edit): I look forward to the single origin in the new year. Also, great work on the promotion of re-usable cups. This is something really important to us and it's...
