My daughter & her boyfriend often eat here and rave about it. I was more than happy to give it a try as I’ve recently moved here from Singapore and I’m missing the variety of food there. We were greeted by the friendly wait staff, who was perfectly attentive. The menu is really extensive, caters to vegetarians and they offer a takeaway menu too. We had a Yamazaki sushi box @ £13.90, a veggie dragon futomaki roll @ £5.90, a prawn yakisoba @ £8.90 & a chicken yakisoba @ £8. For the freshness & excellent quality of the ingredients the price is very reasonable indeed. If you haven’t tried it, I highly recommend it (the negative reviewers clearly have no knowledge of Japanese food, & don’t listen to the garbage about a 1-star rating for hygiene, it was all about documentation). Read moreA small hidden gem. The foods are great and the staff members are very kind. The food is freshly made there, as soon as you order it they'll prep it and cook it for you. The octopus balls (takoyaki) is the best I've ever had compared to the other ones I've tried so far. The sake were delicious too I had it warm. Sushi and sashimi are surprisingly fresh. Soba and udon dishes are good too, the pasta is perfectly cooked and not soggy. Also there are vegan foods too, if you're vegan. The atmosphere were very lovely and quiet, the music is calm and not too loud. If you having a laugh with your friends you can see the staff members smiling too which makes the experience even better. In nutshell is one of the best Japanese style restaurant I think. I highly recommend...

Although I only ordered two dishes for takeaway they were both very good and I certainly want to try some more from the very well populated menu.
Whilst waiting for my order I was able to talk to the staff who were all polite and courteous. It was great to get some background informaion about them, it made everything seem much more genuine.
