I regularly visit this café, and I must say, it’s a hidden gem! The breakfasts are superb—flavorful and satisfying.

The staff are not only polite and friendly but also incredibly efficient. Your orders are taken and delivered with a smile, and the speed of service ensures you won't be kept waiting long.

The recent remodelling has transformed the cafe into a fresh, open space that feels both modern and welcoming. The addition of decking out front is perfect for those finer weather days, offering a lovely spot to relax and enjoy your meal outdoors.

Prices are very reasonable, offering great value for the quality of food and service you receive. As an added bonus, there's a car valeting service right next door, making it convenient to get your car cleaned while you dine. (Which is why I visit regularly)

So, one needs to have the car cleaned and it is midway between breakfast time and lunch time. What to do? Answer, drop the car to be cleaned next door to Cafe Munch and have brunch at the cafe. Being the time between the morning rush and the midday rush the cafe was not too busy and as I sat down most of those who were there left. The Big Breakfast was order and the tea arrived in a couple of minutes, hot and obviously freshly made - delicious. A 10 minute wait and the breakfast arrived in a state that I was hoping for - freshly cooked with even the sausages showing their youth. On top of that everything tasted fine and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Highly recommended, great value and I will be there again as soon as the car needs cleaning if not before. Refurb looks lovely. The decking is a nice touch and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. Food was really good. If I had to criticise anything I’d say I prefer bacon a bit more well done but I’m sure they would’ve done that if I’d asked. Feels like a really clean cafe. Lots to choose from on the menu and reasonably priced as well. Toilets out the back, bit rubbish for parking outside being on the Bristol road. Relatively accessible as well but door isn’t automatic.
