LOTUS BLOSSOM — Restaurant in Birmingham

Ordered from here tonight as we usually do, we never really have that much issues but have noticed everytime we have ordered has been bland and tasteless to be completely honest but Chinese’s don’t seem to be that nice round here anyway, but tonight was a different story, waited an hour for food to be delivered to receive the wrong food, to then call the restaurant and be told that we didn’t order what we wanted, I was literally sat next to my partner when he made the phone call, so I know he had it right! The lady on the phone was completely rude and had really bad customer service. After spending near enough £30 tonight and saw how the restaurant act towards there customers when there clearly in the wrong. It will be the last time I order tonight, I’ll be looking for a new Chinese. One that actually has compassion for there food and business. The woman on the phone clearly needs to find a new job as it seems she doesn’t like what she does, I was more annoyed because as a restaurant your meant to fix your mistakes and please the customer not tell them that they didn’t order what they wanted when I know for a fact I did. I'm appalled with the new delivery drivers you have and will sadly be giving the restaurant a miss in future. I was at a family get together last week and we ordered from our usual. A new driver in a blue car showed up and my mums asked where the usual old guy is that delivers to us. Your delivery driver stated "he's been sacked, he's robbed them" my mum personally knows this driver and has befriended him in the local area aside from ordering from Lotus Blossom. He's always polite and punctual, comes with the correct change, throughout the second lockdown my mother ordered regularly and this driver was the usual one to deliver, he was always kind and really polite, and couldn't do enough to help and always went the extra mile. I think it's disgusting this new driver has said what he has so willingly and would slander a man without hesitation. He was rude and abrupt in his delivery and generally had a bad attitude, and has made accusations very willingly to someone he doesn't know. 100% will be avoiding ordering in future if this is who they chose as the face of...

Very poor customer service. Firstly they only accept cash as to tight to pay 30p card transaction plus prob fiddling the taxman. Secondly simple request yes not on menu so asked for sweet n sour chicken but without batter. Bluntly told no we don't do it, it's not hard put some plain chicken in the pan! I have ordered this from many other takeaways without an issue they just couldn't be bothered to do it or they have no comprehension of customer satisfaction.
