Restaurant Review: An Unforgettable Journey Through Afghan Flavors
If you’re looking for an extraordinary culinary experience that transcends mere dining, look no further than this gem of an Afghan restaurant. From the moment I stepped through the door, I was transported to a world of warm hospitality and tantalizing aromas, all thanks to the impeccable service and the incredible talent in the kitchen.
The standout of my visit was Wazir, our server, who effortlessly elevated the meal into a memorable occasion. His genuine kindness, extensive knowledge of the menu, and attention to detail made us feel like cherished guests. His recommendations turned out to be spot-on, and his passion for Afghan cuisine was evident in every interaction.
The Kabli Pilau, a masterpiece of delicate spiced rice topped with tender lamb, raisins, and julienned carrots, was a symphony of flavors and textures. Each bite brought a balance of sweetness, earthiness, and warmth, leaving me craving more even after I was completely satisfied.
The Chapli Kebab was equally impressive—a perfectly seasoned, juicy ground beef patty bursting with spices and a touch of tanginess. It was served with fresh naan and chutney that added the ideal amount of zing to complement the kebab’s richness.
Finally, the Chupan was the crown jewel of the evening. The lamb chops were grilled to perfection, with a smoky char that sealed in their succulence. They practically melted in my mouth, leaving behind a lingering hint of cumin and saffron that spoke to the care and authenticity poured into their preparation.
The ambiance was another highlight—cozy, inviting, and filled with subtle nods to Afghan culture that added a sense of warmth and authenticity to the experience.
In short, this restaurant is not just a place to eat; it’s a place to savor, celebrate, and connect. With Wazir’s stellar service and a menu that masterfully showcases Afghan cuisine, it’s a must-visit for anyone who appreciates bold flavors and heartfelt hospitality. I’ll be back soon, and I highly recommend you make...
Read moreGot to be honest. Was looking forward to it. Looks nice sat down. Other happy customers family like scenario. Noisy youth priced out. So far so good. A platter was ordered, looked great smelled even better. But...there was a hair in our food. Yuk. Put me right off. Couldn't eat any more and this is fairly early on in the meal. Manager came over showed him the hair which i put into a tissue. He saw it. I saw it. My 3 dinner partners saw it. We explained to him not to worry but thwt he ought to know so that he can improve things for next time. We refused any more of anything, in hindsight i think we should have insisted upon this. He takes the tissue with the hair on it to the kitchen. Then he comes back with out the hair and claims there was no hair it was a cumin seed. The cumin seed was stuck to the hair. Thats just being dishonest, plain and simple. So no im never going there again on the basis of just plain old dishonesty on their oart. My friend who has been there a few times before, paid for the meal. But yeah, dishonesty was just not palatable at all. I coukd ahve forgiven the hair, mistakes happen all the time in restaurants but to make out like it never happened is simply not ok. I hope the manager reads this and thinks carefully about how to treat his paying guests. Nice atmosphere but you dont eat atmosphere do you and as you entered the restaurant at the time we did there was a mop right in front of the entrance. Do better. Waitress was polite and no problems there. But sadly not a...

We came here for a birthday celebration, and it couldn’t have been a better choice. The seating area was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful Afghan decor that really set the vibe—warm lighting, traditional patterns, and an atmosphere that felt both relaxed and culturally rich.
The food was incredible. We started with mantu—delicate dumplings topped with lentils and yogurt—and they were absolutely packed with flavour. The chapli kebabs were juicy and perfectly spiced, and the lamb kabuli pulao was a showstopper—tender lamb nestled in fragrant rice with sweet carrots and raisins.
The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely hospitable, they made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. They even accommodated the birthday touches we asked for, which made the evening even more special.
