SlamBurger Alum Rock — Restaurant in Birmingham

Throughly disappointed with the food I order on two occasions. It arrived cold the first time and truth be told they added a small credit onto my Uber eats account (barely covers the extra charges of ordering on the app at any rate).

The second time I thought I would give them another chance and disappointingly it arrived even colder then the first time. It required 10 mins of reheating (kind of defeats the purpose of eating out doesn't it?) just to make it edible and by the then the fries had lost texture and looked like a soggy mess.

I have never had this issue on any of the food I have ordered from a takeaway even those which are considerably further. The shop is barely 4-5 minutes from my house which can only lead me to the conclusion the food is leaving the restaurant cold. Taste wise it may taste considerably better when it is hot but since I never got the chance to experience that on two separate occasions I could never really make an evaluated decision. Once I start ordering from a restaurant I generally become a repeat customer but I have experienced what I would class major issues on two occasions which in reality are simple to address but seemingly they don't seem concerned as long as they are making money...

Usually have a very good experience at Slamburger but not this time. We ordered 8 burgers and 8 fries using Uber eats. Only one bag of food arrived which we noticed after the driver had left so we rang the branch to check whether they had it with them. The guy on the phone confirmed that it was still there and the driver forgot to take one bag. He apologised and told us to get a refund from Uber eats- no problem. We told him we'll collect those missing fries but we want fresh ones. Ended up not being able to collect so we reordered the 8 fries on Uber again. The food took half an hour to arrive and when it did, they had given us the OLD fries from our first order. They even had the cheek to leave the same receipt from 6.40pm when I placed the first order. The second order arrived at 8pm so the fries were cold and hard. We kept calling the branch to make a complaint but they didn't pick up for two hours and were not very apologetic. Burgers were nice though which is why I've...

I recommend you to visit this shop, because of the following reasons... Foods are amazingly good and delicious Chefs making and preparing foods very clean and nicely. Price is very reasonable for everybody and foods quality is much greater than the price. 4.Shop is very clean and tidy , as soon as I step in the shop decorations and cleanliness took my first satisfaction. No need to wait long time to get the foods after ordered. Customer service is very very very good. Friendly, patience, polite, smile and giving good suggestions about the orders and foods. (I recommend, especially for Muslims who eat only Halal foods and can’t go McDonald’s ,Burger King etc.,) BBQ wing has not been cooked on the grill it’s look the fried chicken hot wings which dipped in BBQ sauce but taste is good (if that taste was not good I would not give five star for this review ) My favourite in this shop are SMOKED DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER ... and DOUBLE...
