Firstly I am a uber driver around West Midlands and I don’t usually pick up from this area… I went to pick up an order they gave me an alert 5 miles before hand around 3.05 AM. So I accepted the order when I arrived I didn’t not see parking space at the front because other drivers had taken the spaces. I parked in the wrong space which I acknowledge… so I went to pick the order up and at the counter the service stewardess came and stated if you don’t move the car I won’t serve you… I replied I understand but can you just get this order ready because it’s not on the screen due to McDonald’s updates. She then replied no move your car first then I will serve you in a rude manner… I replied yes I will move the car no problem but can you get this order ready so the end process becomes fast for the customer as it’s already late because of the system update…. She said no. Anyway I did not want to argue at that time of the morning between 3.15-3.30 AM.. plus there are less drivers and it is Ramadan so I need to get home also. Anyway I moved the car and came back in and I given her the order number and I asked how long as the customer messaged me on my uber app so I needed to update them. Soon I asked her how long she replied your rude I am not serving you? I was in a bit of a shock to be fair because I don’t come across rude I was genuinely no even trying to be rude… I was being normal or polite as possible as I don’t want to make a big issue out of something thats not even remotely relevant to her… but she said I quote cancel your order I don’t want to serve you which was so shocking as i moved the car which had nothing to do with her at the first place. Anyway I traveled around 3-5 miles to pick up this order and it was so easy for her to take the power into her own hands and say cancel the order… also by the way she did not even notify her manager Alex his name is I did ask after I cancelled the order as I did not want to argue or have confrontation… the service stewardess name is Lucy… he did ask me what the problem was but I did not reply as I just wanted no confrontation. He only found out because she was wrong for what she did to me and she knew 110% that was so wrong please video the video in your stores… she told him after and I seen the shock in her face when I asked for names….firstly she has no right to me were and we’re not to park my car but I still acknowledged I was wrong and without argument I moved my car and she still refused to give the order… she has no right to tell the driver cancel the order… yes I totally understand if I was rude or if I done and misconduct then fair enough don’t serve the driver I totally understand… then she told the manager because she knows she has done wrong and I lost out about £8 . I did not tell Alex the store or duty manager anything because I know he can’t solve the issue because she has already made me cancel my order before even telling him… I really want McDonald’s long bridge to investigate this because how she made me feel was un humane and made me feel worthless… i really want this investigation done because you can’t be serving people front of house with that attitude… I am member of ILM and I understand customer service etc, I worked in the hotel and restaurant business for over 20 years to a GM level… I worked for groups like IHG…. I would not be writing this at 6.13 am if this wasn’t serious…
Yet I understand she must of had a hard shift or something as I am human to understand this… my recommendation Lucy needs more training and a guide and her skills need to be reviewed regularly… she made me feel so low of something that I tried to correct myself even then I was defusing the situation and she was just try to aggravate the situation…. Alex could not solve it as I am not blaming him he did not know all this happened. I did move the car as she order checked cctv but my sorry and effort are not good...
Read moreDidn't really want to post a negative review about my recent negative experiences, as the store manager as dealt with me kindly and professionally and is a decent guy. But, I have to point out the inconsistencies of this store of late. Came through the drive thru on Monday and told no Mcflurry! Disappointed as it's a nice way to round off the food, but fair enough. Came back next day and still no Mcflurry!!! After speaking with the manager he explained they're waiting on an engineer to fix it, annoying but fair enough. Came back the next day and it was working hooray! Then came back two days later and back to no Mcflurry!!! Seriously??? Broken again!!! McDonalds Longbridge you really need to sort this out as Mcflurry are actually really popular and fair enough if it breaks etc but when it keeps happening so consistently it really becomes annoying, especially for your regular customer's. I did have one or two other issues with this store, but have been dealt with by the manager. I would have given only 1 star to emphasise my disappointment, but I feel on the managers efforts of assisting my complaints etc it would be unfair so I have given an extra star on he's efforts and merit and he is the credit...

Ordered breakfast on the app, after arriving 15 minutes before the breakfast deadline we waited in an unnecessary lengthy drive through queue and got stuck behind a very chatty indecisive customer (10 mins) eventually gave my order number which they processed, got to the window to be told I was too late! Explaining the breakfast finished at 11am and the app order couldn’t be processed but if we ordered at the till after 11 they could process the order?! Staff sympathised and asked the manager to give a discount or give it free in acceptance that the circumstance was unavoidable and acknowledged that it was their fault. The manager declined the discount, and wouldn’t let us purchase at the app price, stating it could only be sold at that price on the app, which we ordered! Stating we must purchase at full in-store price. A whole 20mins, wasted! I certainly wouldn’t recommend this McDonalds, crafty strategy to get more money or incompetent manager either way,...
