Morrisons Cafe — Restaurant in Birmingham

Went in to have breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed it,shame that they have stopped doing the flying start,as with the small breakfast you miss out on the fried bread which I always enjoyed and you got two sausages with the flying start, the other half had the big breakfast which he really enjoyed they have changed the bread for the toast as well,but that actually was very nice,the staff in the cafe were very nice,as when I ordered I ordered two slices of toast when it came I only had one asked the member of staff, she came back with two more slices of toast,I thought that was really nice of them, other than that everything was brilliant, very good cafe.shame went into the cafe today stood at the till for nearly ten minutes went round to the kitchen asked if anyone was serving lady came round,fair dues she was trying to do everything,the breakfast came with toast what a joke you couldn't even spread the butter it was rock hard you would have to leave it an hour it was really that hard, the breakfast was not up to par, usually have a really good breakfast it seems to going down hill that's why I have removed a couple of stars,the one lady was doing all the running yet it took two of them to bring one little order out, will not be rushing back,it seems one minute all well then it...

After going to this cafe all this week I feel that the service has let down the over all experience. One day I've been made to wait over ten minutes to order, being the only person in the cue, and was then told there was an extra wait for the food. Not good when you only get a half hour dinner break. I've been again today and I ordered and then waited for 20 mins. When I went to ask where the food was, I was told that they hadn't started it yet and the lady on the till said that she would do it. Sure enough 2 minutes later I had my food but the fact I was left waiting for no reason, to me, isn't acceptable. Great food, clean restaurant, bargain prices currently but hit and miss whether they will leave you waiting and make you want to walk out. Our trip for breakfast this morning was so disappointing! My husband & I got there early morning (9.30am) & it wasn't busy, we got our own hot drinks but then waited 25 minutes for our breakfasts to come!! Our drinks had stewed as we were trying to keep the tea hot. When the breakfast came, most of it was luke warm. My poached egg was hard, I might as well had a hard boiled egg. We ate it as we were in a hurry & had a busy day ahead of us, this was the whole idea of having breakfast, so that we had eaten. Paying over £16.00 for what should have been enjoyable breakfasts, turned out to be rubbish & a waste of time & money. Why wasn't it hot, why was the poached egg hard.
