S'More Desserts — Restaurant in Birmingham

Really tried to love this establishment but the inconsistency amongst the food is terrible.

I have spent hundreds of pounds over the last 6 weeks with them for the family during our move and settle in and the food has always either been cold, melted, or most recently inedible.

The owner tried to offer us freebies for the few times they made awful mistakes, like packing ice cream on top of hot food and then wondering why it arrives a cup of milk! however the final straw for me was finding a big black curly hair in my waffle balls.

I had to contact the safety and support team at UBER who refused to do anything other then feedback to the restaurant ,I couldn’t even think about eating anything else due to how sick I felt. They eventually refunded me for the item once they verified the picture.

Uber are useless and I am sick of calling the restaurant to complain! I will not spend my money here again now.

It’s a shame because the food is tasty but with the hair in my dessert and having to throw it away! I’d rather not.

I've given a 1 star purely for customer service. The mojito was nice however.. I come in to order to be told card machine was not working. My son wanted the drink but I was told the nearest cash point was 15 minute walk, I said if I can pay via just eat as I can do a collection order. No problem. The price charged is twice the amount in-store. Not one of the two staff a young lady and guy offered to refund the difference when I had clearly come in as a walk in customer for something that would take a few minutes and just good customer service would gone a long way but also would be fair. I find it wrong that you charged me £9.00 for something that's £4.50 because your machine wasn't working. For that a total 1 star it's a real shame. Honestly the best dessert place in Birmingham! I’m a regular customer. The quality of the food is amazing, this is coming from someone who’s very picky with food!! As well as that, the customer service is top notch! They’re so accommodating and helpful as well as kind! I made a mistake on my order yesterday, they had already made the waffle that I had ordered however when I got to the dessert shop to collect, they kindly out of their own will told me to wait whilst they made me a new waffle of my choice for free as well as giving me the waffle I had ordered!!!!!! I don’t know any other dessert parlour that show that much kindness to their customers. I would 1000000% recommend people to try...
