SERVED MOULDY DRINK! DO NOT COME HERE!!! UNSAFE!! I came here today to the driv-thru. I asked for a mocha frappucino with mocha sauce. I got to the second window, I was served a sloppy, no mocha sauce frappucino. I sent it back in to a for mocha sauce. I watched the lady pour my mocha into a new cup with the mocha sauce, no fresh drink. After leaving I took a sip of my drink and it was the foulest most disgusting drink I have ever had the displeasure of trying. I immediately turned around and headed back to the restaurant. I felt physically ill...
I confronted the staff working. They seemed to have an attitude and the girl who made my drink scurried off to the pantry out of embarrassment. SHE KNEW SHE SERVED ME MOULDY SAUCE!
They refused to try my drink, I told them how bad it was and they responded "I wonder if its the mocha" whilst opening the mocha sauce tub- the second They lifted the lid I saw mould on the side of the tub, and the staff gagged and were taken aback by the stench. I was told I'd get a free drink and a refund, not good enough considering I've now got food poisoning.
Never ever...
Read moreArrived at the store on foot at 20:20 today to find the cafe part of the store closed. The opening times posted on the door, on Google and on the Starbucks website all state the store is open until 9pm. I knocked on the door and a discourteous young woman inched the door open. I asked why the store was closed despite what it says on the door and she replied 'it's just drive through'. I pointed out that they are still making orders for customers in cars and she just repeated 'it's just drive through', as if repeating it somehow made it less ridiculous. If there is some insurmountable difficulty in making a coffee to go for someone on foot compared to someone who arrived in a car, then please do enlighten me. If the opening hours state that a store is open until 9pm, then I should be able to get a coffee until 9pm. There was no information anywhere about the store being open for drive through only past a certain time. I literally walked 2 miles to get there and had to walk all the way back emptyhanded. Absolutely ridiculous. And the staff member couldn't even bring herself to say 'sorry'....

We stopped of here on the way to Earlswood Lakes for a walk. Probably the worst decision of the day. To not slow things down at the order point we decided to order on the app. We then joined the drive thru queue to collect our drinks. Alton towers wait times have been lower than the painstaking 30 minutes this took.
After getting to the order point I explained weâd used the app to pay so we were told to drive around when ready - 3 cars in front still.
At the collection window I was asked to pay ÂŁ5.25 and the lady waved the card reader out at me. I then explained weâd already paid on the app. Clearly theyâd gotten us mixed up with someone else but they werenât exactly busy just snail pace slow. To the point theyâd forgotten about us.
The drinks were okay. ÂŁ8.85 for the two. Itâs a push when you get the drinks quickly but with abysmal service like this itâs not justified.
Testament to Starbucks brand that some people waste this sort of time and money everyday.
Their new drinks in supermarkets are much better value plus you donât have the...
